eBay's current glitches seemed like a good time to reintroduce the key points of this post

What amazes me is that the selling community feels such a Lack of Control and Power over what is happening to them, with High Fee's and Absolutely No Respect. As a Seller, You have the "POWER" and you don't even know it!

Some very good points, made over and over again by different people on different boards over the last however many years.

It just takes a while for some people to realize that they can really do it - they have the ability.  If you can sell on eBay, constantly adjusting to glitches, then you can definitely sell independently - and with less stress.

Stress is a product of a situation where we feel powerless.  Taking yourself away from eBay will help to reduce that sense of powerlessness, and thereby reduce stress.

It amazes me how many sellers seem to be frozen in place and terrified to try something new. No matter how many times Ebay slaps them down, they just keep coming back for more all while saying "Thank you! That felt good. Slap me again."  :o And the excuses that they make for Ebay! Sheesh.

Talk about an abusive relationship.

I love Sundance even if she did have long posts.

I know.  It's hard to "watch."

I guess Sundance was banned from posting on ebay?  It seemed like kind of a waste at that time, that almost everyone she was yelling at on fas were doing exactly what she was advising everyone to do.  It's too bad that she couldn't have made those posts on ebay.

She was posting on the feebay lieworld seeded PayPal boards
with her power seller Id and a few thousands + feedback.

She and I and many others posted for months in protest
of ebay's monopolistic moves after buying PP.

The trolls like Slandering Sandy and the wacked out nurse beat her down like a dog and
the company allowed and supported the removal and lashings of many.

eBay SUX plain and simple and if I ever had a chance to meet any
of the lieworld trolls or even management face to face. I may end up in jail. 

Not really because those low lives at lieworld are not worth the sweat of my...
well you know. 

Quit frankly I have a very low tolerance for 
drinking ppbay supporters too.

I hate what Meg has done to the once great market place and would
love to see her suffer the slow death the she and her cohorts have put so many though.

I really don't know what apology there is to make to Sundance.  I agreed with her again, and again, and again, and again.  I also pointed out many times that there were many of us that were agreeing with her again and again and again and again.

Maybe you want me to apologize on behalf of Matt?  I don't know, but I obviously can't do that since I'm not Matt.

She was NARU'ed from eBay for speaking out against eBay's policies.  eBay had been her only source of income.  Sundance from one of her TT posts:

Want to have the Hell Scared Out of You, try losing that income, that you were living on. Money needed to pay bills, buy food, put a roof over your head. That kind of experience, you never forget. You left out the one Voices member who was baiting and stalking Sundance on FAS.

The only thing Matt accomplished by banning Sundance was to kill off the traffic to his site. One year later FAS/ecommercearena's traffic ranking has fallen to 319,930 (from 30,000 when Matt made the mistake of  banning Sundance)...meanwhile the traffic rankings of the two places that welcomed her, TT and PPSux, have risen to 60,000 and 33,000 respectively (and both sites traffic has beaten FAS/EA every month since last September).  It doesn't look like the banning of Sundance had the desired effect of silencing criticism of eBay that some, including Matt, thought it would.
