Woman makes money off other people's stuff on eBay
Quote:...FoundValue, a three-year-old company comprising a network of nearly 200 independent specialists in almost 40 states who sell other people's unwanted belongings on the Internet.

Warren is one of those specialists and has the type of relationship with FoundValue that an operator has with a franchise.

Meanwhile, FoundValue and Warren receive a commission from the items sold based on a sliding scale - they receive 35 percent of the first $250; 25 percent of the next $750, up to $1,000; and 15 percent of amounts more than $1,000. Warren keeps most of the commission, as FoundValue keeps only 7 percent of the final selling price of each item.

eBay issues a press release about the virtues of its Trading Assistants program and the next day 50 "news" articles magically appear  Smileytongueout

After looking at the information on the FoundValue Specialist program's web site, I'm not surprised that that's all she's made.  It reminded me of Amway  Smile If they had used the word "opportunity" one more time on their web site I would have  Puke . $165 for crap, crap, crap.

She would have a better chance of making money if she dumped FoundValue and their 7% fee and just built her own trading assistant business.  I think paying $165 for the FoundValue membership kit was a waste of money.

become a specialist  :Smile http://www.foundvalue.com/be_a_specialis...lists.aspx
get 25' of bubble wrap, 50 blank mailing labels and more when you order your very own business kit  :Smile : http://www.foundvalue.com/be_a_specialis...erkit.aspx
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"

"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site.
best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011
