Orangutan seeks mate worldwide via blog

Nanjing's Hongshan Forest Zoo is planning to seek a "wife" for the only orangutan named "Leshen" in the zoo, by setting up a blog.

Li, manager in charge of primate in the zoo, remarked that they have established a blog both in Chinese and English (leshen2005.blog.tom.com) named after the orangutan itself.

At present, six-year-old Leshen is physically mature. Li said that they have contacted zoos in Shanghai, Hangzhou and Qinhuangdao but failed to find a right mate because female orangutans have later physical maturation...
