eBay Express in Germany launches next week

We have important news for all developers who are currently testing their new eBay Express applications for eBay Germany: Get ready!

The launch of eBay Express Germany will be next week, between 21-27 August 2006. German developers will receive a separate tech flash about the launch. eBay Express in Germany is already open for sellers and can be viewed here: www.express.ebay.de.

On eBay Express US, buyers pay by using PayPal or their credit card. Both methods are safe and secure and processed by PayPal.

On eBay Express Germany, buyers pay by using PayPal, credit card, or direct debit (Elektronisches Lastschriftverfahren (ELV)).

For Sellers: You need to meet certain eligibility criteria, and you need to include certain features for your fixed-price and Store Inventory listings on eBay to also be included on eBay Express.

Selling on eBay Express US is essentially the same as selling on eBay. As long as both the seller and the item are eligible, the item will be included on Express. New items are shown by default on Express US, with used items just a click away.

eBay Express Germany sellers are exclusively business sellers who have committed to adhere to the eBay Express service standards. Only new items are offered on Express Germany.
