Beware of (some) eBay Trading Assistants with Consignment Stores...

A downtown eBay consignment store left a hand-lettered sign on the door when it closed in late January, and police are investigating two complaints from customers.

The store's Web site, www.eBaysellingassistant.com, was not working Thursday and its phone was disconnected...

Dana Andrews of Noblesville filed a police report Feb. 22 stating that he hasn't been paid for some items he consigned with the store in December to be sold on eBay...

Noblesville Police ask anyone with information on the Sold! It on eBay store to contact the department...

Seems many larger sellers are dropping like flies
just like so many smaller ones have done earlier on.

I guess some of them big timers held out for as long as they
could but all the fee increases of 2005 do seem to be catching up to many of them.

You can't give it away forever and stay in biz.
