Re: eBay Stores Enhancements: Category Expansion and Custom Listing Frame
I hadn't noticed the categories glitch. I did notice that the custom listing frame glitchancement frequently doesn't appear.

Re: eBay Stores Enhancements: Category Expansion and Custom Listing Frame
I don't see any problem with our store categories ...of course the last time I tried to edit them was in 2002 so that might explain why I'm not seeing the problem. The custom listing frame is still missing from our listings. I did see it briefly earlier in the week.
The eBay Express glitchfest launch should be fun to watch from the sidelines...even if I wanted to list my items on Express I couldn't because a glitch in my account settings is telling me "You are not qualified to sell on eBay Express at this time." :

Re: eBay Stores Enhancements: Category Expansion and Custom Listing Frame
I opted out as soon as I heard the opt out option was available earlier today.
From what I've seen at the stores board there seems to be some really excited stores users about all this. (Of course it is hard to tell who is "really" excited and who was sent in to act "excited" to help "promote" the whole thing). The more I think about it the more I see this as just another bone thrown their way in an attempt to keep those monthly subscription fees coming in from some who by now would have thrown in the towel. Think about it. The only ones who may benefit is Stores and folks who already do Fix Priced listing and folks with a 98% FB or better. That is if ebay can manage to pull in all those "non ebay" shoppers. Which I still think is highly doubtful.

A Tale of the boinktard eBay Stores Developer Team and Browser (in)Compatibility
The custom listing frame glitchancement only works on Internet Explorer. The eBay Stores developer team forgot to read the chapter on browser compatibility when they took the Web Design 101 class at Boinktard U.

Re: eBay Stores Enhancements: Category Expansion and Custom Listing Frame
Quote:when it first came out It worked the 1st day or 2 and then as usual they made a code change and forgot to test for browser compatibility, EBay's track record on browser compatibility is horrible: for almost 2 years they had a notice up on their corporate employment site (www.ebaycareers.com) warning visitors that the site only worked with Internet Explorer.
