Debt-ridden worker arrested in £23,000 eBay stolen goods scam

Martin Moody, 41, a trusted maintenance worker at the city centre shop, operated the scam for two years before he was caught.

He appeared before Norwich Magistrates' yesterday and confessed to stealing goods to the value of £23,000.

The father-of-one, of Leewood Crescent in west Norwich, admitted five charges of theft and five charges of deception, but this was just the tip of the iceberg after he asked for a further 152 offences to be taken into consideration...
