You folks have piles of popcorn all over the floor ... and all those empty bottles and glasses .... Hey, this show has not really even started. If Express starts to make money and the auction department thinks the sales are coming out of auctions ---- Watch Out! ***wonders how to set a spy into that board meeting.....

Re: Express Preview
* Save for Later. Not only will the shopping cart hold your items for a longer period (in case you are interrupted while shopping), you will also have the ability to save items in your cart for up to 90 days.
What a great idea. Sort of like a watch list just for EE. So, is the plan to p*ss buyers off by encouraging them to "watch" items in their cart and then letting them come back 89 days later to find that *their* cart item(s) have been sold to someone else? Or, is the plan to p*ss sellers off by letting buyers place items in carts for up to three freakin' months, making them unavailable to other buyers during that time? (If so, what a great way to corner your market during the holiday season. Just put all your competitors widgets in your cart. ) |

Get yourself 1,000,000 identical widgets so that best matches works for you! :-* It would be best to steal them so you can compete with the others on price. Ebay talked to three people and a dog who insisted they wanted to buy the exact same thing everybody else bought. It is the wave of the future. (The dog really wanted milkbone but the survey taker marked it "close enough".) * *

Re: Express Preview
Ebay always gives you exactly what you ask for. Kinda like if you were to ask for fries at McDonald's and got fried squid instead.

Re: Express Preview
True, nothing wrong with fried squid, as long as you call it calamari.
And, of course, if you weren't expecting french fries. |

Ebay always gives you exactly what you ask for. Kinda like if you were to ask for fries at McDonald's and got fried squid instead.
Since we're talking about the product eBay provides its users, I would have said "sh.IT" instead of "fried squid"
So, is the plan to p*ss buyers off by encouraging them to "watch" items in their cart and then letting them come back 89 days later to find that *their* cart item(s) have been sold to someone else? (If so, what a great way to corner your market during the holiday season.
