Latest Internet usage numbers from March.  The top 5 countries were 1. USA 2. China 3. Japan 4. Germany 5. UK.  The average Internet user spent 31 hours online, with Israelis topping the chart at 57.5 hours, followed by Finland at 49.3 hours.  Neither the US nor China ranked in the top 15 for average hours online.

The World Wide Web may be worldwide, but its use is hardly universal, reports a new index from comScore Networks Inc. ComScore's new comScore World Metrix reports that 694 million people, ages 15+, used the Internet worldwide from all locations in March 2006, representing 14% of the world`s total population within this age group.
