Quote:The store count dropped, has the post been pulled yet? Which store was it and how many items went poof? I must be lossing it the past few stores that closed slipped by me. I still have a list though that I am watching that are delisting. It was bikinilingerie with 14 items at the time they closed today. The post is still there but no one has stopped in to say goodbye or wish them luck. Ray must be occupied training his new hamster. Did you catch tweeny? They left too.
bikinilingerie just showed up at PSU asking for help in opening one of those PSU websites. Just passing this along in case any of you know anything about the process and can offer some help. I know nothing about the PSU sites, so I'm not much good in that area.

Here's another thought DB...
If Alexa rankings are so unimportant than why was Karen citing Alexa numbers herself? Didn't she just say that violates a policy? Evidently she thought they were important or at least worthy of consideration as noted by my bolding below. When did the policy change to "outlaw" reporting these numbers or is KaRay exempt from his/her own rules? Shame on you Ray - you're nothing but a two-faced liar. Proof positive. Quote:Hello Members,

Eclic:
I don't know what KaRay have been saying to Poppers lately, but it is apparent some Poppers are aware of the dismal Alexa stats and are trying to discount them. Popper quote: Quote:Alexa is a good tool to use to 'consider' various aspects of e-activity, but like all the tools out there, should not be considered gospel My Translation: Alexa is worth a look-see, but don't put much credence in the stats. |

Maybe we can stumble through it together. Rat, I can't find the thread...
Well, like someone said earlier (and it may have been you, lol) - they seem to use what will benefit WP. They loved Alexa when the rankings were getting better, now it should be dismissed. Doesn't make sense, you can't have it both ways. Karen herself posted those numbers to show their significance. While I certainly wouldn't look at the stats as "gospel", I still stand by statement its a good "indicator".

I must be bored tonight, lol.
Desperation has truly set in. In response to the poster that asked with help moving their store to WP from eBay comes this gem: Quote:I hear a lot of frustration in your post. Sure, I'll help - for a fee

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
An example of a "conned" store as defined by Truth:
Look up Garlands and Roses, ID name timeforoses. Registered July 26, 2006 with a feedback of 10 (only 8 show up though). Currently there are 34 items in this store. There have been 34 item since November - none added, none sold since then, no logo, no work done to enhance the store, no reciprocal feedback left for buyers. This store is just squatting. The cost of upholding that store since July = 89.55 The cost of the 34 items listed at base price = 183.50 (like there is going to be a bidding war!) Profit if every item sold tomorrow 93.94 less FVFs My math tells me that eBay would be cheaper and my gut instinct tells me that this store is a phony! KaRay have you received yours today? No? Well here!

The "dynamic" results of WP's increased traffic campaign:

Sheesh to move in over 1000 items then just have to move than out again will be exhausting. Believe me I am speaking from experience..... But I'm almost there! |
