Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Now we have that worked out - back to business!
The store dropped today was a familiar ghost. The Machine Shed (last one listed), a 1 item wonder. Now empty but not closed. Care to place a bet on how soon it will show up again? Oh, and our familiar friend dbdiscounts is now empty again. KaRay, will you PLEASE retire this one from the rotation? It is boring me. MOBW, congrats on successfully closing your store. May your future bring you the prosperity you deserve on a more worthy site. Jo-Jo, I noticed the drop in showcase and featured as well. Two days ago the featured were 23 so perhaps 2 showcase dropped to that level. I am suggesting Paula's Vintage and Bernings as the last 2 showcase stores to downgrade - and both from page one. One thing I haven't followed lately is the activity of Ad-Smart. Is anyone still paying into that trojan horse? Does anyone know? KaRay your monthly scourge of the unfit is rapidly approaching. If you stick true to form, you will need to pad the count with a few stores under your power to activate. I suspect you didn't agree with my past picks but maybe this time I'll get it right. How about these: http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/GrannysAttic http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/aquasuperstore or would you prefer older stores: http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/The-Scen...tegory=all http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/Children...e_Clothing http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/treasuresandmore Glad to help you in your lottery.

Anybody seen WP's sales report?
Nope, still not revealed. And no 'New Revolution' newsletter either. Maybe the hampster drank copious amounts of Koolaid and is too bloated to reach the keyboard. Glug, Glug...Burp! :twistedevil:
Sherrand, The AdSmart banners are still there - I've seen them since the AdSmart maintenance period a few days ago. But, the rule of "put them in an appropriate category ONLY" seems to be tossed out the window lately. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I ran some research on home much traffic the keyword "wagglepop" was generating for the past 3 days. Below are my results from my adword program that ran in the following countries 5 in total.
Countries: Australia Canada France United Kingdom United States Campaign: wagglepop Paused $0.10 Settings clicks views ctr avg cpc cost avg. position $0.10 Max CPC 0 162 0.00% - - 2.4 This may be foriegn to many people but let me try and explain my reaserch a little further. Remember when the grand opening started the only google advertising we saw was for keyword "wagglepop". I also checked the keywords that Ray should have advertised with google like books, collectibles, home decor and about 50 other keywords that would have benifited the WP sellers. I never found a single link to WP in any of the sponsored links for any other keyword besides "wagglepop" that pointed to WP. Instead Ray runs an adword campaign using keyword "wagglepop" which nobody in this world would google other then the sellers that are there now or the ones who have already left. So for 3 days that keyword had 162 views while my main keywords were drawing over 10,000 views in the same time frame. This cost me nothing as nobody clicked on that keyword and most of the 162 views were by me checking the position or a few people who knew I was doing that. By the way eBay is spending about $0.15 cpc to gain top position. I tested that as well and had mine set at $0.05 cpc until google laughed at me and said I needed to raise it to $0.10 My guess is Ray had it set for $0.05 and google laughed at him for being cheap so Ray stopped the campaign all together. RiverRat can verify that my link was there because I have completed my investigation and have paused that keyword. Ray let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." |

Truth,
That would have made a GREAT Wagglefact! But what the heck, a fact is a fact by any other name... I came in at the end of this google experiment and got to catch the last dribbles which still confirms this information is true, accurate, authentic, and positively DYNAMIC! Sorry, I lost my head for a moment there.

I'm surprised Ray didn't bid on "wagglepop auction site" too.
