Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:All commerce,casinos,con-artists, lotteries etc. are based on one human trait... Good analogy Cash, and one I've alluded to on this thread. But don't insult a legitimate enterprise by putting it in the same league as WP. At least if I go to a casino, and park my behind in front of a slot machine, I: a) sit in front of it knowing FULL WELL my chances of hitting it big are one in a million at best. No promises, no lies. No pretense. No deceit. b) should I decide to leave and still have money in the machine, it will be returned to me. Not so with WP. Furthermore, the slot machine doesn't follow me out the door with an "exiting invoice" and threaten me with legal action if I don't pay it. c) didn't have to work my ass off for months to lose my money with little to no return. I play to have fun. When I stop having fun, I can leave without guilt. The casino owner, staff and other patrons will not try to make me feel like a low-life and a quitter, someone not worthy of gracing their fine establishment. d) am not relying on my winnings as a way to make a living. Nor is the business touted as any kind of "wise investment." e) know that the casino owner MUST, BY LAW, program his machines to pay out a certain percentage, and that at some time a person WILL be lucky enough to get a jackpot. No one has ever won big on WP and Ray answers to no one when it comes to the money he takes. The only law that governs him is his conscience, which we all know has no moral compass. f) am not kicked out of the casino should I care to ask management how the gambling revenues are spent. I may even be given a prospectus and a balance sheet should I care to invest. I predicted here that once stores fell below 300, the site would start to come apart at the seams. Stores are closing and Ray's desparate attempt to artificially inflate the statistics with his revolving parade of ghost stores cannot compensate for the dropping numbers. Rumor has it that the fat lady is preparing to step up to the microphone. |

... more smoke & mirrors .... Quote:wagglepopCC1 Tue 04/10/07 5:04 pm[/quote] Please note that this service comes free from eBay when you own an eBay store. It's called omniture. Anyone who owns an eBay store can access keyword reports & other key search terms through this service. It's a very usefull tool for anyone running an adwords campaign. There is nothing dynamic adout it other then eBay store owners have had access to this information for years already. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." |

Quote:if it's listed on eBay we have potential buyers looking for it here And with a few million listings, if anybody has it, eBay will, not WP, with it's puny 70,000 or so. Of couse, should, by any outside chance WP does have "it", and the buyer would rather purchase off an obscure, pathetic site like WP instead of off a known, established entity like eBay, the phone registration process would kill the sale, anyway. |
