Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Had a busy day today I could not believe how much reading I had to catch up on here.
First I'd like to say Hi Patti You made the right choice I think WP was just stringing all the sellers along with a bunch of lies. Also like you say the community is nothing like it used to be. I was wondering about Mo too. I haven't heard anything from her in a long time. I haven't had time to check out your eCrater store yet but I will. Quote:xxxxxxxxxxxx Wed 04/11/07 12:09 pm Ok what can I say about this post other than this is just insane. :blinkie: This is why I said it's sad but there are some sellers there who would probably think a fee increase is a good thing if Ray told them it was. |

Quote:This may sound nuts but: what if we all put a few dollars into a fund for WP to use for advertising. If 100 of us put in 100 dollars each then WP would have 10,000 dollars to help every seller and member they have. Or even if 1000 of us put in 10 dollars each the same thing could happen. Its WPs site but it is our internet further. I would be willing to do it anyone else? :blinkie: :asshat2:

Go buy some pink, fuzzy slippers, whine on the boards about being broke and fools like you will volunteer to pay for advertising and send you money every month for the privilege of having their name on your site. :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Got an email from epets... he checked out the thread and still feels that WP is a good thing and it will "just take more time". I do want to apologize for my nasty "box of rocks" comment. It was not nice and was said out of frustration... which to TT'ers I'm sure is completely understandable but to a person reading it, could be deemed unnecessarily rude.
Message to ePets... you can go on believing that WP is up and coming and that your hard work and donations will make the difference but PLEASE make backups and start looking for another venue. Common sense tells us that this company is moving backwards in progression and that they are not long or this world. You must see this in some way, shape or form... don't you?? 900+ stores to 200 is not foward movement... and if you actually believe that the lack of participation is due to non-paying sellers, then I probably have nothing left to say to you on this subject. END OF MESSGAGE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAMMING So... anyhoo... got my lap top... Bill worked on it all night getting it ready for me and I am now using it... does it make my posts look thinner?? tee hee hee My other computer makes my butt look fat!! |

Hello Everyone - Well, I did it. Removed all 750 listings from my store (did most of them within the past two days.) I paid my final bill. Posted on the farewell board and emailed Karen to close my store. Sales have plummeted for me. Not even any lookers. Quite sad. My store name on WP was A-Beautiful-Secret and my username was TheAtticOfPatti. So I am here now outing myself. I am still waiting for a reply on the closing of my store.... Unique - a.k.a. ~Patti~ [/quote] Welcome Patti! (sorry if I'm late, been busy) |

DH is home from work today (raining and snowing) so I plan on trying to get at least 100 items listed in my eCrater store today. With him watching the kids it should be a breeze .... ~Patti~ |
