Gossip has it that all the best people hang out on this board. I don't know if I qualify but I do like to be seen associating with the best.
I am new to this site and still learniing my way around. I have taken some time to browse through some of the listings here, and it looks like there is a good assortment.
I am a long time ebayer that is currently looking for a better way. I have posted a few items here to see how it goes and to try and get an idea of what will go well here.
I would like to invite everyone to lok over my items. Comments, criticisms, and suggestions are always welcome.

The gossip is all true. The best people ARE here.
Took a look-see at your listings and you have some nice stuff. My advice to you is to list. list and then list a few more. A store wouldn't be a bad idea but it's a personal preference. If you are going to test the waters with just a few listings you will be dissapointed. The more items you list the better your chances of reaching a buyer. Also remember that this site is very new, and it will take some time for buyer to get over their addiction to eBay. The more we promote the faster we grow.

Hope you do make yourself a home here. We all would love to have ya. If you ever need anything just holler everyone here is always available and willing to help out.

Didn't they at one point have almost 900 stores and now they are down to 217? It just makes my skin crawl when I read that it is a new site and how great it is to be a part of something that is just starting.

Ok, folks I have been wanting to play host for a listing challenge, so anyone up for one??? I would like to do a 2 parter. Two Contest going at the same time, so there is no direct pressure. A Regular Contest for regular listing and another contest for everyone that hand makes their items. Both Contest would run on the same rules (which I will list if we get enough people) and both contest would have thier won prizes. I will give first prize for both contest, the same as always the $9.95 Basic Store Fee to each First prize winner and I am hoping that we can get a few other prizes donated too. Let me all know what you think!

I thought of offering a free template from Verve Auction Styles but then realized that after listing umph-hundred listings the last thing you'd want to do is revise them. I am happy to offer my time so I will let the recipoent choose between a template or sidebar.

Come on sellers ... who has many things to list and needs a nudge??? I always do, I haven't listed since the last contest, lol! I will be listing in the handmade section, but excepting NO prize, I just want to host.

Can't picture much enthusiasm for this round of a listing contest. But hey, what do I know. It appears to me that AndRay's vanguard have been drafted for the mission of propping up the poppers. His three best buds are all of a sudden active on the boards.

Along the same line of thought. For those who can still access the boards, tell me that I am wrong. The majority of the posts started in the last week have been initiated by the born-again cheerleaders; one in particular. But there has been a pathetic response if any to most of their efforts.

Stone Soup anyone...shall we "Go Fish"?  Can you tickle my armpit and make me jump through your hoops?  Doubt it would be possible even if I was still active on WP as I would claim immunity to such obvious manipulation. And it looks like the poppers are showing the same insensitivity to the stimulation.

You did give me an idea though, and that's what the community threads are about. More on this idea later, Now I gotta run.

Maybe I misunderstood. I thought we were supposed to try adding something to the pot that we currently have in our WP store.... kinda like a twist on the Share Your Wares post. If I posted incorrectly then I apologize.

XXXXXX after your post I realized that others may think the same thing so I just wanted to clarify. It's really no biggie. Your misiterpretation is what gave me the other idea though.
