It's been an interesting week everyone. There are a number of stores currently making their way to page nine and out but I'll hold off recounting them here until they shut their doors or empty out.

BIG BIG FUN! - 81 items, empty but not closed. This store emptied once before and came back.
Lori's Loft - 42 items, empty but not closed. Same as above, 2nd time showing empty in a month.
Jewles by Gigi - 27 items, closed. New seller who signed up in May.
Star Dog General Store - 7 items, empty but not closed.
The Texas Rose 7 items - empty (AGAIN) but not closed.
Oh Mama Mia - 1 item, empty but not closed.
Pookie*Pouches - 1 item, empty but not closed.

Odekirk's Yearbooks and More! emptied over a month ago and came back this morning with 385 listings.
Pattys Knick Knack Shack emptied 2 weeks ago and returned a couple of days ago.
Terri's Closet of Curiosities has vacillated between empty and 1-18 items for a number of months now. Still wishing everyone a Happy New Year on her landing page.

Patti, I take back what I said about lack of activity with ghost stores. There appears to be a whole rash of members suddenly deciding to re-open their stores that had been officially closed in the past. And members who have been around for a while who all of a sudden decided they needed to open a store on WP.

Wow! Now see, this is what I'm talking about with time, effort and in-depth searching and finding! This is just amazing when you think about it - the time and effort this man (?) has put into scamming everyone... if he would have put that much time into actually trying to make the site succeed... what an a-hole!

Curious how stores magically spring to life after being closed and dead for months as the 20th of the month approaches. Can't let on what the "REAL" store count is. Why that would be downright "negative" and "unsupportive."

Gossip has it that all the best people hang out on this board. I don't know if I qualify but I do like to be seen associating with the best.
I am new to this site and still learniing my way around. I have taken some time to browse through some of the listings here, and it looks like there is a good assortment.
I am a long time ebayer that is currently looking for a better way. I have posted a few items here to see how it goes and to try and get an idea of what will go well here.
I would like to invite everyone to lok over my items. Comments, criticisms, and suggestions are always welcome.

Welcome to wagglepop.

The gossip is all true. The best people ARE here.
Took a look-see at your listings and you have some nice stuff. My advice to you is to list. list and then list a few more. A store wouldn't be a bad idea but it's a personal preference. If you are going to test the waters with just a few listings you will be dissapointed. The more items you list the better your chances of reaching a buyer. Also remember that this site is very new, and it will take some time for buyer to get over their addiction to eBay. The more we promote the faster we grow.

Hope you do make yourself a home here. We all would love to have ya. If you ever need anything just holler everyone here is always available and willing to help out.

Is it just because I'm crabby today or does this bother anybody else. Didn't WP recently celebrate their 1 year anniversary? Didn't they at one point have almost 900 stores and now they are down to 217? It just makes my skin crawl when I read that it is a new site and how great it is to be a part of something that is just starting.

WP is not just starting - the time to grow with it has long come and gone. Any sellers coming in now are listing and waiting for the end, not the beginning of sales.

Congrats! My son was born on July 16th. He was due the 24th but he wanted out earlier. LOL My daughter was born on April 16th. I purposely did that so their birthdates would be easy to remember.

I don't have excel. Does that mean I have to enter/post each listing one at a time or is there some other way to save listings up and post when I want?

I'm mainly thinking right now about matching up my wagglepop store name with my feebay store. Seems like no problem I guess. But I'm also thinking about changing my feebay name. That's mainly what's making me hesitate here because I'd hate to get started and then have to start over.

Bolding mine - this poor poor person... no matter the name, if they start on WP, they're going to have to start all over again soon enough.

No not really.  But I will...

It was a joke email I received once and I thought it was cute that an obviously very young kitten would hold his hands up long enough for someone to take a picture of it. 

Perhaps you'd like to know that the current avatar is my newest pet, strayed up this winter pregnant.  I paid big dollars 5 weeks ago to take her to the vet on a Friday evening to have a c-section when she couldn't have #5.  I've taken countless kittens and mommas and strays and fed them and found them homes.  I currently feed at least 3 cats who won't come near me but they come to eat.

I don't sit around and shoot cats, birds, or any other living animals.  Insects are another story.  But hey, if you really want, I could send you some. 

Did I mention, I have a nice sized bat house?

Lur-Kist I have that same picture saved on my machine. And another one of the tables turned where the cat is holding the gun.

I love you kitty stories too but then I'm not impartial to felines.
