Quoted from a WP newbie Quote:A friend on another site told me about this one. I was told, don't know if true, that this site was started by a former Ebay Powerseller. I figure if this is so, then this person may understand just how it is. For example I have already seen that you can ask a question of the site administrators and actually get an answer. On the other place you are simply refered to a list of possible solutions. I like being able to actually cantact a real person wheather I want to brag or bit*h makes no difference. Another new seller on WP - I give this one less than a month...
Have you taken a look at what they are selling? Ooo-la-la! Warning: please remove all children within visual range of your screen especially if you have not explained the birds and the bees to them yet. Maybe Andray will buy some under one of his many alias. He could use some invigorating. If perchance there are posters here who don't know how to search this way here's a quick tutorial. Copy the poster's name. Click on advanced search. At the bottom of the page on the left hand side you will see a box for 'Search by Seller'. Plunk in the name and click.
I'm disappointed in this seller's items. I was looking for something motorized. Edit: New thread: Quote:vas 18 Jun 2007 15:20 Is this not a violation of WP posting policy? Poopers are not allowed to advertise their items on the boards except in the "Share Your Wares" thread, right? Also, since the thread has no replies, looks like Poopers don't want to play, anyway. BTW: the "scramble thing" referred to by this poster has something to do with the way posts get out of sequence when posts in between get deleted. |

Morning Gang! Check this BS on Patty's feedback - bogus sell on item #408591. Yes, you can leave feedback on a banned WP store!!! http://www.wagglepop.com/bin/auction/vie...serID=6008
Yes, you can definitely leave feedback after banning - I left my last two for Patty after the fact. Unfortunately, she can't leave FB for me though. That's all right, in a couple of weeks, there will be no store of mine to click on over there either! :turkey2: |

I (aka sniksnak since I couldn't use my seller ID meowsnbarks) "purchased" two of that item after Patty was banned and her store shut down by WP, which means she didn't receive the order, WP didn't get FVF, I didn't get the soaps. Just how skewed is that? In my mind, this is simply another example of false sales figures and feedback.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I almost wish I could postpone my vacation this week so I can stay home and screw with my WP store and then close it. I'll let everyone know when it's finally closed so you can all go buy what's left. LOL
Riverwood, got any plans to leave messages behind in your WP store listings? From what I heard, the listings that are left floating go till they expire.
Stop LURKING - Come and post!

Yes, it does seem very strange you would be able to leave FB - not good for sure in the sense that a disgruntled buyer getting no response could leave all kinds of crap attached to the seller's good name. When I asked CS if my listings would be removed once I closed the store account and they said, yes they would be. I guess if they ban someone, they don't bother. |
Hi Lur-Kist, Well, I'm planning to leave a message in the store description a few days before closing, basically announcing that the store is closing by such & such date. That would show up in any listings, but as I was saying, CS claimed all listings would be ended by THEM, so who knows. |

If you will go back a number of pages, you'll see that Truth and I were testing the waters, so to speak. I knew you could make a purchase like this since I'd accidentally done so - tarts store, not realizing she had closed her store, but not deleted her items. I made the bogus purchase at Patty's in order to post the step-by-step process on TT. This is another reason why it's so very important to delete all items BEFORE contacting WP CC to close your store. This is how ghost stores are developed. Andray will pad and pad and pad sales and number of stores at EOM. I'm off to the doctor's office to get out of this airplane contraption. Wadda relief that will be. Later, Gators!

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Hi Peeps, Nice to see you all still here. Sorry I haven't been around much the past few days, but I did have a kick a$$ weekend at the store ! Finally got caught up on the reading, and WoW, alot has been going on here. I can completely understand and respect the decisions of those involved. But now I ask myself this: Since I'm not old school, and not new school, does that make me a middle-schooler?
My plans to leave WP started late last year, when the "old guard" here at TT opened my eyes. I simply stayed in limbo until I figured out what to do next, and where to do it. I had been wanting to put a cart on my website for years, and just never got around to it. Thanks to the guidance and motivation of all the "you-know-who's" here, I (well, mostly Deb) got the new website and cart up and running in no time ! Best thing I've ever done, bar none ! Within weeks, my sales were better than almost a full year at WP. So, like many others here, I actually can thank Ray for helping my business, but not in the way that he had planned. And I can thank him for bringing me to all of you. There are many here that I consider to be friends, though we have never met in person. For that, and all of the savvy business advice that I have received, I am eternally grateful. Turn the page, and let the new chapter begin, if it is your will. Peace to all, Eldon. |
Shelley, not true. another AndRay, KaRay fib. Remember Chainman? He asked for his store to be closed and went through all the right channels. The final straw for him BTW was having a post of his removed. Well I checked after he was gone and found his items still active. They are long gone now so you will have to take my word for it as I can't provide any proof.
