Sherry, I have been watching the delisting of Bob's store since the last temper tantrum of Ray and the invention of Andrew. I'm surprised that it took him this long to get out of Dodge.
I cannot confirm but I suspect Bob ran out of patience with de-listing and just emailed for immediate closure of his store. At 4:00 am this morning (do not ask me why I was up at that hour) his store was still active with 602 listings. 6 hours later when I next looked, it was closed.
HUMMMMM that sounds weird, doesn't it. I was watching his store and he had most, if not all, of his stuff on auction, so there was an end date. As the end date came and went, he wasn't relisting. Then he started relisting and it was something that made me go hummmmm. I wonder is there something else to this? He didn't sound too happy when Andrew came on the scene, so I wonder was his store closed for him? Looks like this will be one of the ghost stores. Here's to you Ray. |

I worked for Intuit tech support and at least half my job was letting people tell me what a no good mother f'ing incompetent idiot I was before I could even begin to help them. That I recall, Karen never had to deal with anything close. In fact, more often than not, the chosen few were kissing her ass and falling all over themselves to tell her how great she was. :peepants:

Anyone wanna take a peek at Ray's new wheels?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...l?ViewItem&viewitem=&item=230135771109 Notice the listing says "pick up, only." Maybe Ray's planning to make a run for the border after picking up his California ride, just south of L.A. Edit: If you have time, brouse the listing. Anyone wanna take bets on whether the seller finished third grade? |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for Patches. It seems she is going to stay with us for a while. It was very touch and go for a while. We gave her fluids all through the night which she managed to hold down as long as it was a teaspoon at a time. She seems to be much better now. I guess it was a virus. She is drinking on her own now and even took a few bites to eat last night.
Hopefully, she'll be back in the bicycle basket seeing the neighborhood again soon. (Yes, we have her spoiled rotten!) |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Good Morning,
Eyeswide, I am glad to hear patches is doing better!
220 store found. Hi all. I haven't been posting but I've been lurking Sherrand - thanks for the store update! witheyeswideopen - Glad to hear Patches is going better! WP boards have been very, very quiet. Maybe all the poppers are delisting? Hope everyone has a great weekend. ~Patti~
One can only hope! Well it will be time soon for day 2 of the street sale! I got in a nasty war of words with a collector yesterday. The ad says 10-4 No Early Birds. I hate when they come early when you are not all set up and start rummaging through everything. Well, This one guy stopped and started heading up my driveway and I told him sorry we are not ready yet. He asked if he could just come up and take a look and I said no, I have to get my boys ready for school and am not set up yet. The he started screaming at me, saying you would rather loose out on a $100-200 dollar sale because you are not open yet? I said look, the ad said 10-4 no early birds you can leave now! He started swearing at me and left. The damn collectors/ebay sellers can get so nasty! I used to do the whole vintage garage sale thing a lot more but it is people like this who just ruin it for everyone. Pushing and shoving matches, collectors practically trying to grab things right out of your hands...I have no patience for people like this! You get a lot more with honey than vinegar. I feel bad for the older folks that get swarmed by these nasty people. Well thats my rant for the weekend! On a good note I did get rid of some stuff and made a few bucks! Well off I go for day 2, hopefully I can stay composed and not rip anyones head off today! Have a great day my fellow miscreants! |
