Hi everyone. It must be a terrible time for dogs! Our little 4 legged furbaby has come down with a nasty virus. Patches is a 15 year old part yorkie part pomeranian. She actually belongs to my parents but has been a part of the family so long, we are all terribly close to her. She is only about 4 lbs so can get dehydrated awfully fast. We took her to the vet and he gave her some nausea meds, but they really havent been any help. Currently we are giving her a teaspoon (by dropper) of Pedialyte every 15-20 minutes to try to battle the dehydration. At her advanced age, a simple virus could do a lot of damage. Please add her to your thoughts. I don't know how are family would do without her. Thanks.
Sorry to hear your Patches is not feeling well. Here's to a quick recovery. When one of our fur kids has a bug, I give them Oil of oregano (usually N.A. Herb & spice Oreganol) in a small capsule of acidolphilus. For a little dog 1-2 drops in a 1/2 cap of acidolphilus 2x a day would be about right, if you wanted to try it. Works remarkably well for all types of nasties. Hope she feels better soon. |

Not only does that part make no common sense at all - I'm getting really tired of hearing how new of a site WP is! It's no longer considered a new site... dying, yes; new, no.
I find that annoying too Moon - it's over a year old, for crying out loud. One would think some small amount of progress could be made in a year! :turkey2: |

One Pooper's advice to a newbie:
Quote:XXXX 22 Jun 2007 09:50bolding mine. Quote:My store has been paying for itself BFD! Translation: All the time and effort I put in every month to maintain my Pooper store is worth a little over $9.95/mo. Quote: check the boards and ask as many questions as you need. Great advice, Pooper. What are you trying to do? Get the newbie banned for life? Here's some more Quote: it will rival the giants one day. And what giant might you be referring to? The giant cockroach? designers-bargains.ecrater.com |

Ummmmmmmmm...if I remember correctly, didn't Ray list Wagglepop on eBay once upon a time?
Not quite sure what you're referring to, Fine. But I do remember there was a Wagglepop store on eBay. Don't know if it was Ray or one of his disciples who created it, but the sole purpose was to WP. I don't recall any items for sale -- All part of those "nonconventional" promotional channels they talked about in the beginning. I believe eBay eventually shut it down. There were also tons of Poopers who put WP links in their descriptions and listings, or told buyers going into their listings that the item was available for less money on their Wagglepop store, in an underhanded effort to divert eBay traffic to Wagglepop. Right now, there are 9 listings on eBay with links to WP. This is a blatant violation of eBay policy and the sellers know it. Like little kids who sneak money out of mom's purse, they take delight in seeing how far they can screw eBay to further the cause of their divine Boinktard, and they have no qualms whatsoever about it. The only rules that apply to them are those by edict of the his royal Boinktardedness. Edit: I just checked one of the violating seller's eBay store, and he has WP links everywhere, including store pages and listings. Doesn't seem to have done him much good, though, as he joined WP Aug. 4 last year and has zero feedback. designers-bargains.ecrater.com |

He wanted some ridiculous amount of money for it. At this point, I would venture to guess not only will he not be able to sell it, he'd probably have trouble giving it away.

A couple of CC1 quotes that are gems:
Quote:wagglepopCC1 19 Aug 2006 18:32 Did anyone ever see the Selling Strategies portal? What would this have cost WP to build - other than their time if they really, sincerely, truly meant to help sellers build their business with them? Quote:wagglepopCC1 19 Aug 2006 19:21 There you have it. Every time someone starts a listing contest, well it's just plain silly.

At this point, I would venture to guess not only will he not be able to sell it, he'd probably have trouble giving it away. Oh, OK. Yes, he was trying to sell it for $20K or $40K, depending on what source you talk to. At this point in the life of WP, he'd probably have to PAY someone that much to take it off his hands. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ OK, everyone. Get out your barf bags Here comes a totally disgusting, SHAMLESS PLUG ------------------------ 2 for 1 Sale at Designers Bargains for all TTers. I have to clear out . . . so come into either of my eBay or Ecrater stores and buy one item, and get the second item of lesser or equal value FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My prices are already 70-95% off retail, so you can bag some great buys. THIS IS FOR TTers ONLY. If the items you want are in my eBay store, it will be great if you could just give me the item number so I can take it out of stock. That way I don't go in the hole on the 10% commissions. But if you don't feel comfortable doing that, I'll understand. Either way, just make sure you give me your TT ID so I can invoice you correctly. PM me if you have any questions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- See, that was not so bad. After all the work I've put into this thread in the last year, I deserve at least one plug. Right, mods? Now back to your regularly-scheduled programming on the Boinktard network. OTWA website is closing it's doors and will no
longer offer services to the online auction industry. http://www.otwa.com/community/showthread.php?t=55518 Someone better go over there and archive that WP1 thread. Or at least parts of it (it's a long thread) for your records. |
