Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
From PSU admin after I PM about the problem:
The problem effected everyone and the whole site. I am just about to post this response to the forum. I wanted to give an update on why the site was down earlier today. I was doing some site diagnoses and was logging the performance of the database. The log file was being written to a partition that stores temp files. The log file grew quicker then I thought and it filled up the partition so temp files could no longer be written to it. As you all have noticed this caused some unexpected results when going to the site. |

I do have to say that Nikki left with a lot of class. I really didn't expect anything different from her. She has a wonderful business sense and I wish her well at her venue of choice.
I, too, love the things that Brenda makes. I wish she had another venue as well.

I love looking at her jewelry, but I refuse to buy on WP.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
It is obvious whoever did the posting on PSU is a complete and utter moron who only listens to half the story.
Get it through your thick skull, not everyone has an agenda. I once loved WP, and yes the set up is fantastic. The owner or CS or whoever they are today came on the advanced sellers board getting people all excited about "we the people", how they had upcoming changes to streamline features, how they had an advertising budget of $75,0000...... They are big huge enormous liers!! Period. Then if someone so much as made a reference to something that could make the site a bit better, they got deleted. What do idiots like you need to see? Do you honestly think he just deletes posts such as the negativity we put on here at TT??? What he deletes is nothing close. As long as they keep doing what they are doing, it will never matter how good that site looks because everyone with any business sense will eventually get a peak at the asshole behind the site. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
First let me say hello and welcome to ALL new members since I last posted. I don't post often, and that's ok, I read every day and appreciate all the work you all put into this.
Quick, before ray reads this post do a google search for crochet ruffle socks. You should get wp item# 275884, if not then 275872, 314126, 314129. Since I closed my wp store I keep getting hits on my site meter to some of my wp items. I asked about this before and agreed that maybe they were items that people were watching or saved for whatever reason. Lately I've done some research, here goes: 1. They are 4 specific items. 3 of which are sold and one that was ended when I closed. 2. All of the hits are from different locations and ips, except for 2 hits which are from the same town and ip. 3. There have been 12 hits since April 1. 4. None of these hits are from the person who bought the items. 5. I individually ended each of my listings before I closed my store. Conclusion: if I had known that wp was going to rotate certain of my sold and/or ended listings into google search AFTER I closed my store I would have edited all my listings to include a blurb about where I was moving my items to. Then at least I could have gotten some advertising from the sob for all the money I spent on my store. So to all store owners who are considering closing and moving, I would suggest adding a blurb to each listing as to where you are going. I know it would be a ton of work, but you might actually get something for your money, for once. I hope that by my posting this here raytard will take my items out of rotation as I really HATE the thought that I will forever be associated with his bs. Thanks again for your hard work and updates, you all are great. |
