This was a resurrected store. Registered May 18/06 and showed up right after the Axeman's visit Jun28th. The store I highlighted above in red was reported closed. It was. I made an error however in the original posting regarding the registration date. This member actually registered September 5/06 but didn't open a store until Feb/07. As reported above it was closed on the last "Axeman Cometh" day and at that time there were 220+ stores. Today the store shows up again when there are 188 stores in the stable. Now perhaps they defaulted on payment and were 'parked'. AndRay, KaRay IxNay however announced a penalty fee to be reinstated. So this seller paid that fee and came back 2 weeks later??? Why...it's a miracle! And another older "closed" store has been re-activated but no inventory listed yet. Registered Apr 12/07. Welcome back: http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/bear-hugz-n-kisses Lori's Loft pumped all 40 listings back in, shortly after I reported them as gone.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
To the lurkers who have haunted our thread. KUDOS!!
Maybe you do not agreed with everything you've read here, but hopefully a portion of it has found root. Perhaps you don't put much faith of our testimonials, our experiences, but again just a sliver of credence granted would be a start. And maybe you don't appreciate the bald opinions expressed here but have siphoned through them and admitted that some of them paralleled your reservations. The most apparent claim that you seemed to have taken up faith with is our warning to remove/de-list all your items when you reach the decision to vacate Poopland. At least you've been able to accept that offer of advice and are acting on it. To reiterate with a fresh example, H98 left WP abruptly a week ago today. He didn't de-list, he just asked for his store to be closed. As of right now, his listings are still active. Here is proof: http://www.wagglepop.com/bin/auction/view?cmd=view&listingID=123637 I only need to post this one for you to find all the rest of them. But the majority of poppers leaving are not doing so in this style. And that is where you can be assured that your leaving is still not supporting WP's inflated statistics.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
O.K. Wagglepoppers..just a little selling on line tip.. lets call it.. Selling On line 101.
If you are selling on a venue where you only have to pay $9.95 a month for unlimited listings why not list and list and list? On Page 3 of the stores on WP it does not even reach 500 listings? Do your homework...check the feedback that is left...the majority is from other WP sellers. Holy Cripes...I have over 500 listings on my ecrater store and that is free! I must admit that I do not add new listings daily but when I check my email in the morning I always find a sale. What is that telling you? I once had a store on WP. I too thought it was great to be able to have unlimited listings for such a great price...my only buyers were other WP sellers. No matter how you try to advertise WP it is not going to work! The owner of WP should be handling this aspect of the business and obviously that is not going to happen. With the demise of the so called Karen you should have figured out that all help was lost. Since the big farwell and boo hoo "You all hurt Karens feelings" there has been no input from customer service except the DELETE button. Find another venue....if you can find the time to lurk on this message board you will learn that there are amazing people here that actually want to help you to succeed in being an online seller. Very talented people that aim to please. Drink some water and clear your heads. It will be the smartest move you ever make! Karma to all my late night friends! Gotta go kiss my Flynny goodnight! |
