O.K. Wagglepoppers..just a little selling on line tip.. lets call it.. Selling On line 101. If you are selling on a venue where you only have to pay $9.95 a month for unlimited listings why not list and list and list? On Page 3 of the stores on WP it does not even reach 500 listings? Do your homework...check the feedback that is left...the majority is from other WP sellers. Holy Cripes...I have over 500 listings on my ecrater store and that is free! I must admit that I do not add new listings daily but when I check my email in the morning I always find a sale. What is that telling you? I once had a store on WP. I too thought it was great to be able to have unlimited listings for such a great price...my only buyers were other WP sellers. No matter how you try to advertise WP it is not going to work! The owner of WP should be handling this aspect of the business and obviously that is not going to happen. With the demise of the so called Karen you should have figured out that all help was lost. Since the big farwell and boo hoo "You all hurt Karens feelings" there has been no input from customer service except the DELETE button. Find another venue....if you can find the time to lurk on this message board you will learn that there are amazing people here that actually want to help you to succeed in being an online seller. Very talented people that aim to please. Drink some water and clear your heads. It will be the smartest move you ever make! Karma to all my late night friends!
Very well put Myo Quote: Gotta go kiss my Flynny goodnight! I thought I smelled something funny....
- - - snip snip clip clip - - - Gymboree 4 Me - 95 items, closed. Opened in Feb 07. - - - snip snip clip clip - - -
The store I highlighted above in red was reported closed. It was. I made an error however in the original posting regarding the registration date. This member actually registered September 5/06 but didn't open a store until Feb/07. As reported above it was closed on the last "Axeman Cometh" day and at that time there were 220+ stores. Today the store shows up again when there are 188 stores in the stable. Now perhaps they defaulted on payment and were 'parked'. AndRay, KaRay IxNay however announced a penalty fee to be reinstated. So this seller paid that fee and came back 2 weeks later??? Why...it's a miracle! And another older "closed" store has been re-activated but no inventory listed yet. Registered Apr 12/07. Welcome back: http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/bear-hugz-n-kisses Lori's Loft pumped all 40 listings back in, shortly after I reported them as gone.
Ok...Gymboree-4-me had a family emergency and she went null for a spell and is truly back on her own...no ghost there... Littlest stitch is on another venue now...MAKING SALES! Yipee for her!!! I made contact with both of these wonderful sellers today. But keep a watchful eye on the Gymboree store...

I'm glad to hear Littlest Stitch is doing well. She didn't stay at WP very long. There's a smart seller! As for Gymboree's family emergency I hope everything is okay. I didn't think this was a ghost store because Gym used to post on the board at WP which no ghost store has ever done that I'm aware of. But I would be curious to learn whether they did have to pay a penalty to re-activate their store. Or perhaps Gym will come and tell us herself. Hi MBND! to the dark side!

Quote:But keep a watchful eye on the Gymboree store... I did, I saw...
Also I talked to her again this morning and she's having trouble getting a verification code to join us here on TT! I have to go take my son to the farm to 'walk his goat' (oh please help me...) He is showing this for FFA! He's a city boy - working a goat... So if someone knows Admin here perhaps someone could help her out. I'm not sure what her direct email is.

Just came home from work to find that my account is de-activated too. And I've never even made a post there...
It doesn't matter if you'd never posted. You know he can probably track which pages you have visited? Anyone who's logged in, clicked the link to see how many stores there are and then go to the forums is probably more than likely a TT member in his eyes. I don't think any WP members go through those three steps when they are on the site. So anyone who can still get in will have to be more slick about it. I can still get in but I don't read the boards or visit much. I can get all the info about the boards and what's happening on WP right here. |
