I've been thinking Yah I know, anyway. I can deal with ignorance because they just don't know, but stupid grinds me because they know but don't use the knowledge. ??? I am not computer savvy like a lot of people and never looked up WP or visited blogs. I just believed what Karen told us and went along really thinking I was helping build a better way. Most of the sellers there are in that mode. They are not looking beyond where they are. When Karen left I really was sad :'(. Then came the morning when the smile you're on candid camera thread was there I clicked the link. The thread was gone so fast I would have missed it. That's when I discovered what was happening. It took me beyond where I was. I just want to say thank you . Now, what can I do to help the others?? Nothing like a cause to keep people together Well, gotta go to that day job, can't wait to get back to my fun job!!
Ironwood, don't feel bad! This story is sooo familiar to us here! Thankfully, I found this thread back in October of last year. I had a bad feeling about some things I'd seen (particularly the way DB was bashed on the so-called friendly community boards). And then there was Chain Man and the whole interaction he had with Karen - where she made a personal comment regarding his "ego" (which she later edited out). I did go looking for information after that and what I found alarmed me. What can you do? Tell people! Don't use the WP messaging system because they can and will interfere with your PMs. Email sellers you know (and feel comfortable talking to) to let them know what's going on. Did you know Ray is now arbitrarily alienating the potential customer base at WP? Now, instead of just deleting posts, he is actively banning and de-activating member ids. Myself and several others can't even view the forums, much less purchase anything! I've never posted on the forums under the ID I was using. While I can't stand WP/Ray, there are some very good sellers there. Thankfully, I know where to find them elsewhere because I will NEVER put another penny into KarAndRay's pocket!

LISTEN UP LURKERS AND WAGGLEPOP CHEERLEADERS!!! When Ray said he was going to spend 75,000.00 on advertising and promoting the site, he should have HAD THE MONEY IN HIS POCKET ALREADY and not counting on future funds!!!!! VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!
As just about everything has been "copied" here to TT, one can find all the posts by Customer Service at WP that show their lies. I just cannot dig at this moment. The "supposed" advertising budget, which was a crock and never came through. They stated at one time they planned on doing the upgrades for sellers when business PICKED UP. Then, when business DID pick up and they were asked about it, they stated things were "TO BUSY" to implement them at that moment. Duh!!! EVERY SINGLE POST that asked a question regarding traffic, sales, upgrades, or anything that most REAL business owners "question", even nicely put, were considered "negative attitude" and deleted. Remember, at one time WP had over 900 stores. So, now they only have what, 190 or so the numbers show? More than 700 stores have closed over a few months. No one, can tell me that those 190 people know more than the 700 people who have either left or got banned! The "family" feeling is what keeps most of those people who are there and not selling much, staying there. I look at them as people who do NOT really want a REAL business. No offense to any of the older folk, but WP is the perfect place for those "retirees" who don't want much sales but just a comfy online family. For $9.95 a month it wouldn't be bad if the site you were paying is advertising to bring in traffic, but all they are getting is a shoddy hosting company, period. If they want to pay and do all the work to get their items indexed, good luck with that. Just remember, the site that gets all the credit and rankings will always show WAGGLEPOP in the url. And if they actually believed in the "non-negativity" that they preach, they would have taken a step back and asked themselves why soooo many of their friends were treated too such disgusting examples of customer service. Poor, rude and ignorant messages from customer service isn't a REAL business, it is as DB always states, a CULT! So for those cheerleaders, remember, Ebay could care less about WP or all the other auction sites. WP is, and always will be nothing but a big pile of shit! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Here is a fun copied thread I have, remember this one?
Quote:Advanced Selling: Wagglepop Stores - NON paying bidder Later I will look to find the rest of the thread, as I do have it. The silly boy goes on to say how the member was actually BRAND NEW THAT DAY. New registration. They accidentally bid on one of his items, realized it was the wrong one, admitted their error then bid on the correct one. Then out of habbit, they expected to pay via Paypal when this seller only does "fund transfer" for Paypal because HE DOES NOT HAVE A BUSINESS ACCOUNT. Which, no matter what he seems to think, AGAINST PAYPALS POLICY! Those rules are across the board, and DO NOT ONLY APPLY TO EBAY!! So basically, this was like a customer walking into a store, maybe a bit of an annoying customer but hey, that is what customer service is all about, changed their mind a couple of times and wanted to pay with a method that the store didn't accept. Would a REAL store tell them they can never come in and shop again??? WP did. That customer was deleted!! Who in their right mind would pay $9.95 for someone else to control who is allowed to shop at your store?? Soap Lady got a nice friendly letter from Customer Service at WP which was posted on the PSU thread: http://www.powersellersunite.com/viewtopic.php?t=12197 Read it. The whole thing is, and always was, about the treatment people receive from WP. You will notice no mention was made of Tiny Tim, but he sure hopped on acting as if the whole thing was all about him. Yeah, your customer service ethics leave much to be desired, but you really are nothing more than a speck of dust on the ass of an elephant! Yup, with sellers like him and such fantastic customer service, upgrades and advertising WP is sure to rival Ebay some day!! |
