Dead beat non-payers, Ya, I fell for that one, too . What does they spammed the boards mean? What do they do?

What does they spammed the boards mean? What do they do?
They go to various forums and post with the sole intent of "advertising" Wagglepop. Putting links to WP in their signatures, mentioning it in their posts. A definite no-no.

I'll be the first to admit that I was as stupid and naive as the come. But it didn't take long for me to figure something was very wrong with the WP picture. Almost from the beginning, it smelled like cult to me. |

Almost from the beginning, it smelled like cult to me.
DB I think this is true for a lot of people who don't frequent the boards a lot or are new to the boards. They just don't realize that it's considered spam. I know that was the case for me when I first heard about it. I like you was on the ebay board for a different reason when I came upon a post for WP. They were posting and talking about it I didn't know that this was considered spam or a bad thing to do. So many of them were doing it I joined in. Once I read some more info and found out this was considered spam I stopped and will never do it again. It's unfortunate that this will happen again and again. As there will always be people who are new to the boards who just don't realize what spam is. This is what Ray counts on. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Can anybody explain the following stores? Abandoned? Don't know how to close? Ghost stores?
conquestautomotive: feedback ZERO, 1 item, member since Aug. 2006 red desert collectibles: feedback ZERO, 2 items, member since Aug. 2006 its a girl thing: feedback ZERO, 3 items, member since Mar, 2007 plaited ribbonry: feedback ZERO, 4 items, member since Oct. 2006 andy & me country treasures: feedback ZERO, 4 items, member since Oct. 2006 nutmeg custom crafts: feeback one (as a buyer), 5 items, member since Nov. 2006 north plains merchandise: feedback one, 5 items, member since Mar. 2007 new town emporium: feedback ZERO, 5 items, member since Mar. 2007 gems 4 all: feedback 7 (as a buyer), 5 items, member since July, 2006 the pink dragonfly: feedback ZERO, 6 items, member since Feb. 2007 chenille shack: feedback two (one as buyer), 8 items, member since Jul. 2006 dawns boys loki & koby: feedback ZERO, 3 items, member since Apr. 2007 bling bling hiphop clothing: feedback one (as buyer), 9 items, member since Feb. 2007 That's 13 stores who (we presume) have been paying every month, from 3-12 months, to keep less than 10 items, with only 2 discernable sales among all of them (one for $5 and one for $14.81). Good going Ray. You made $770 and your sellers made $19.81!. And that's just on these 13 store owners. How many more have no sales, but have been paying for months, and months, and months to support your visions of grandeur? And what did they get in return? Nothing! I call that stealing. WAKE UP, LURKERS! Get out and cut your losses. |
