Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
So, another day of "Place the Blame" on others huh?
Sigh, maybe if you knew how to treat customers, there wouldn't be so many here complaining about your lies & lack of ethics. Advertising with POP3, imbedding in "background", what a dumb concept, as I have read about that. Dumb dumb dumb. If you wanted to to attract more sellers with all that money to fill the shelves, you should have been advertising where SELLERS hang out, all over the place. Most sites where sellers hang out have fairly cheap advertising. Like you said, why attract buyers to empty shelves. But, it really is a big crock. WP once had over 900 stores folks. 900 and nothing was done to KEEP those sellers period. This story of how they have to work within their current budget is really the same thing they were saying when they had those 900 sellers. They kept saying it was your job as sellers to direct buyers and bring in more sellers. TT is the one of the largest places to read about the poor customer service and the REAL reasons why so many have left WP, but you can find them everywhere. Go do a search on Etsy forums for Wagglepop, and there are a few more complaints. One about a member who couldn't get anything to load etc. etc. kept asking for help, got none, then got a bill for $20 and threatening collections. I do believe that smart seller reported them. But, once again this supposedly wonderful professional has done nothing but BLAME BLAME BLAME. No responsiblity at all. So, Andrew: That is the most incredibly lame excuse I have ever heard, and I've heard a bunch. WP has tried to blame all their problems on non-payers, naysayers and more. Rather than take any responsiblity at all for their lies, poor customer service and lack of good functions. To me, I view them as if they were molesters of the innocent. At least the courts make them register. And I don't want people like that living in my neighborhood, so I spread the word. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
That was just a pathetic follow up report... can't even comment on it other than to say, instead of pointing that old finger of blame and making excuses to WP many failures, why not instead report just what it is WP is going to do for the remaining 'existing dedicated seller base'? No real business would do an initial report, no less a follow up report, specifically to point blame for the many reasons WP2 is a total failure.
And I'll repeat myself here by saying that many, many auction sites (including the one Ray's now selling on!), have had bad seller experiences, bad customers experiences and lack of customer service talked about on the net... WP is not the only one talked about, yet it's the only one that seems to blame ex-sellers for it's failure to produce. If the time spent blaming and whining was put to working to make it visible, WP2 may have made it. Don't see that happening now at all, but at one time there were a good amount of dedicated sellers to work with. |

Quote:instead of pointing that old finger of blame and making excuses to WP many failures, why not instead report just what it is WP is going to do for the remaining 'existing dedicated seller base'? Because that would be out of character for Ray. His classic "blame everyone but himself" war chant is coming through again loud & clear. I think it's appropriate to resurrect this post. Eerily similar: Quote:Since this is where and how the whole idea started, I think it's only fitting that it end here as well.

You're using RScript jackass. There are 100 other sites using the same script with the same features and you have fewer features of the script enabled than most sites. This is one of the things that really got to me. After reading here and following links to a demo for this RScript it became quite clear to me that we were being lied to at WP. There was no team of people working to implement these features. There was just some boinktard holding back and not turning a bunch of the features on. [/quote] Hi All, I haven't been posting much - got a ton of work to do to get ready for the busier fall season. I'm not technically minded, but I'm curious about this RScript that Ray uses for WP. Is it true that the program itself has a proper bulklister that could have been turned on at any time? ...and that there was no need for that ridiculous excuse for a bulklister, Inventory Direct?? What a piece of crap that was! I should have been bald by now tearing my hair out trying to use that program! :turkey1: |

That's including configuring the spreadsheets. |

When I used it, it had error messages every 2 minutes, didn't delete most of the ebay paraphrenalia (sp?) that it was supposed to, and of course it didn't copy the photos unless they were hosted, which 99% of mine weren't. I ended up editing hundreds & hundreds of listings one by one after the fact. It took me far longer than it would have entering them one by one. Anyway, anyone know whether the RScript has a built in bulklister? I recall seeing that mentioned somewhere. :cinqo2: |

But I just did a google search and looked at a site that sells it. It listed bulklister as a feature. I couldn't say for sure if the one WP is using came with that as a feature but I wouldn't doubt it. |

For those interested: I have a store update and will do my very best to fill in for Sherrand.
Sheeney's Shebang - 564 items, closed. Collector Friendly - 31 Items, closed. Vina's Trendy Babies - 2 Items, closed - open for one week and is now closed... I see one WP cheerleader who is more of a buyer than a seller.
Stop LURKING - Come and post!
