Oh yeah, let's start a "welcome waggon" and go email everyone who is new. Spammers. Let's go email them with links to TT. Oh, yeah Ray reads your emails!! Ever stop to think they have read your boards and do not want to join in? Even if new sellers come on, anyone coming on now is in it for "BUSINESS" purposes. They will not be like the current drinking folks there to "support" WP. They will stay, notice they are paying $9.95 for zippo traffic (pity sales don't count), then leave. When will you realize, people DO NOT WANT TO DO ALL THE WORK OF DIRECTING TRAFFIC FOR SOMEONE ELSE OTHER THAN THEMSELVES!!! Yup, I want to pay for a site that gives zippo information about itself, deletes my posts when I ask a LEGITIMATE question, reads my emails....etc.etc. Get yourselves a website and start swapping links with other store owners and direct traffic to yourself!!
On your mark -- get set -- let the spam begin!!!!!!! Quote:XXX 08 Aug 2007 05:04 Bolding mine. Hey Popper! While you're at it, why not send the "Zero Tolerance Policy" board participation edict along with your "Welcome" letter, and don't fail to mention that while on the boards, questions about business, marketing, feature implementation, business plan, Ray or just about anything else other than rah, rah WagglePoop, will be cause for immedicate termination of account. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Hello,
I check in here often, never have posted.... Was a founding member at WP but didn't sell much unless I literally dragged buyers over from elsewhere. Met a lot of nice people and did find some great "go to" merchants for gifts I purchase throughout the year. I left before Karen because it wasn't worth my time, money or effort. I re-registered and checked back from time to time to watch the disaster unveil. Then it was time to so some shopping (Christmas shopping I am embarrassed to say). Picked out all my purchases from a seller I had done business with previously, and before I could check out I was banned. Pretty hard to make a go of a website when you are banning sellers! I needed to make a pet supply purchase from another favorite seller so the deal went off privately also. If the goal is to move sales off the site and collect no final value fees - they are right on schedule for a successful year. Please remember that as screwed up as the administration of that site is: There are some really great merchants with great prices and wonderful customer service that may be worth a visit. Have a great day! Its my DD 14th birthday today |

Couldn't agree more, and I think many of us on this thread will concur, and would certainly patonize the great sellers there if not for the facts that: (1) Most of us are banned and can't buy on the site. (2) Patronizing WP sellers is also patrnonizing Ray, which most of us would never do, even if PAID to do it. |

168 open 771 closed
The 2 stores that disappeared are still active stores with no listings... Both new stores. My guess is that they didn't have their listings set to automatically re-list, and their 2 items have now ended... Still padding the Boinktards pockets...
