Hi my fellow miscreants! Since I am IP Banned can someone shed some light on who is doing all that listing on WP. Is it new members or just the floor mat guy. Just curious...

Hi Brat well I don't think they've gained too many new members lately the store count is still down at 165. Most likely the floor mat guy or a listing contest. We know it's not Ray he's been doing all his listing at ebay

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Don't know who's listing on WP these days. As near as I can figure, overpriced car floor mat guy's listing count has been the same for weeks. There was a big listing contest recently, so that's probably what it is.
It appears most of the listings (over 67,000) are concentrated among 29 stores (some of which have the same store owner), which have 1000 listings or more, each. This means that a DISPROPORTIONATE AMOUNT (about 80% - or 4/5) of the TOTAL LISTINGS at WP, are concentrated among less than 18% (less than 1/5) of the stores. About half of those listings are concentrated among ONLY 6 STORES, with these 6 stores having about 30,000 listings among them. This means well over 1/3 of the TOTAL LISTING COUNT AT WP is concentrated in less than 4% (about 1/25) of the number of stores. On the other side, 18 stores, or about 11% of the total STORE count have less than 10 items. These stores have only 71 items between them. They don't even make a blip on the radar, accounting for LESS THAN 1/10TH OF 1% OF THE TOTAL LSTINGS. What this says to me is that there are very few sellers doing any listing at all - maybe a handful (possibly the same handful that Ray has since chosen to run his site) -- and that the majority don't give a wombat poo poo, have abandoned their stores, and/or Ray has a bunch of ghosts to inflate the store count. Another possible explanation is that those 18 store owners are all so busy they don't have time to list. |

Thanks for the update Scoop & DB.
WOW! The few stores that are active are really hard core cult members! To waste all that time listing on a site that is not advertised and brings little or no sales....its so sad. Must have been a good prize for the winner of this latest contest. As I am sitting here typing I just had a nice sale for $52.00 on my ecrater store. I love when that e-mail alert chimes; most of the time that means money in my pocket! Well I hope everyone is well. I have been very busy with football practice and getting the kids ready to go back ot school. Plus I am listing at a few other places. |

Those top 29 sellers only need to list less than 9 items each a day to crank the count to its present daily increase. Even I could list 9 books or 9 bags of beads in a day. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
What happened to Wagglepop?
I haven't checked it in a while and amazed at the changes in the forums. The ever popular daily breakfast chats have disappeared. In addition, the daily share your wares have been moved to their own neglected forum and now are weekly share your wares. Even the advanced selling forum seems to lack any real posting volume now. The WP forum community was one of the few things that kept a lot of buyers there despite lackluster sales.
