Quote:Listings are down 7,000 this month to 86,000 Approximately 70,000 of those listings are in the top 25 stores.
Translation: more than 4/5 of WP's listings are in only 1/6 of its stores. A whopping 1/4 of WP's listings are concentrated in a single item: auto floor mats. AND, to date, no evidence this guy has sold ONE SINGLE SOLITARY FLOOR MAT after being on WP for nearly 6 months. Imagine if eBay had over a quarter of the listings on its site concentrated in one item nobody wants. Speaking of eBay, looks like Ray went to the "Overpriced Auto Floor Mat Guy"'s school of salesmanship. In the last month Ray's sold a whopping $208 of "authentic" magazine cut-outs -- 18 out of about 450 listings in his eBay store. Before long, Ray will probably try auctioning off his "cut-out shears" on eBay, complete with a COA signed by his hamster. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I looked at what he is selling on ebay, when this post first came up and I was surprised to see how easily he gets away with fraud. He had on his items that they came with COA, and my frist reaction was by who? I sell vintage magazines, pulps, comics, And for that I had to take my grading system from the way they grade comics standards..Then he stated it was a family business that has been grading these ummm articles for over 25 years, so just to see what more BS he was spewing I did a search of his store name and lol 4 count them 4 hits came back all pertaining to his ebay items, but out of what ever he had listed only 4 showed up lol...... So I guess his family business isn't so popular or hasn't been around long cause it would have shown up more in searches.. OK so then I did some checking on his other BS line, his family business certified these as authentic, in order to do that you have to be registered as a certified company to get a following ect.... at least a name as authentic some place, at least as far as selling coins, comic ect.. ebay will only allow you to say that an Item is certified like coins and comics if it is certified or graded through an APROVED company... So I see now that he has changed his tune to "original" with a guarantee... And yet he goes on

Quote:From Sept. 16, AndRay's monthly, pre-invoicing Koolaid communion: "Next level of competitive marketing and further growth". Translation: no advertising, no upgrades, NOTHING, until WP acquires a SUSTAINED 5,000 store count ($50,000 month guaranteed MINIMUM income in Ray's pocket) . Oct. 25 update: 147 stores, down 3 more stores since the Oct. 1 sweep, and the Poppers haven't gotten past the axman's Nov. 1 culling of the herd. Just 4,853 more stores to go -- probably more after Nov. 1. IN YOUR DREAMS, RAY! Edit: Anybody able to get in and report on the obligatory, monthly "pre-ax, pay your invoice or you're a gonner, you no-good, lazy bum" pep talk that normally appears between the 17th and 20th of the month? |

Nada. There isn't much activity on their boards--page 1 of the Advanced Selling board included topics that date all the way back to September 27th (I told you it was slow). EDIT: the only alter ego 2 post was one from 2 weeks ago about minor tweaks to the templates. |

Is this the lowest the store count has been?
The last time it was lower was the day before eBay raised fees in July 2006. |
