Quote:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 02 Apr 2008 02:42Ooooo - let's all do a little "Waggle" dance. I do way better than that with my totally effortless Ecrater store and I DO make enough to pay the bill -- if fact, I make enough to pay the bill EVERY month no matter how much I do or don't sell -- because it's FREE! As a follow-up to Sherrand's post: gotta admit WP is revolutionary in its definition of "growing" and "attractive." What feature do you suppose WP will dispose of next? I vote for invoice direct. |

It's not much and not enough to pay the bill, but hey it's a sale! So keep 'em coming! Thanks everyone! xxxx xxx Her previous 3 sales were $2.00, $0.50, $0.50. popper's response Wrote:Congrats!! $2 monthly is positive energy? I'd be standing on top of the Space Needle ready to jump.

Quote:I got a idea to help us all promote WP, and are stores. Im thinking i will make a website , like a shopping directory, with all of are stores on it, make it really cool looking. Then i will market it very heavely, i will get a company to submit to 1000s of search engines, we will get top 10 listing on 250 tier 2 search engines, and loads of classified ads, i think maybe in 3 months time with the right marketing it would bring lots os business to us seller. Now the catch, we would have to all chip in $7 per month, we would need at least 20 stores to list. Im not going to make any money off this, all the money goes into marketing the website, i will show reciets proof of the marketing. I think its a good idea, oh and that includes 10,000 pop under ads per month, they do work WePissOnU Brian's Lost Brother??? Damn! I hate those popunder ads. AAAARGH Now the poopers are going to advertise this way? I wish Firefox was able to block those.
Sure way to lose whatever business they have over there. Instead of .50 sells sales a month, they will get nada, zip. edited because |

Separated at birth, maybe? I'm sure with this Popper's superior, eloquent command of English spelling and grammer he/she should do just fine in creating a "cool looking" web site. (insert sarcasm) In Poopville the law of diminishing returns reigns. Instead of paying $10 for a $2 month return, those of grander vision will end up spending $17 a month for $0 return. I doubt, however, any of the current batch of red and blue loyal Poppers will offer to put $10K into pumping up Ray's limp balloon. |

WP Wrote:Category Flagship Banners use a "liquid" rate card based on overall site traffic independently reported by Quantcast (quantcast.com) each month. Specifically, the monthly advertising rate is determined by using the "Estimated Monthly U.S. Unique Visitors" statistic, closing on the 26th of the month prior as the rate base for the next month. At the time of this writing Wagglepop receives approximately 67,462 unique U.S. visitors per month. Quantcast reported a large monthly traffic decrease. It's time to keep your word and lower your rates Ray. :asshat2:

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Ray's been listing like a madman on eBay. 1,243 listings in the past month. 63 sales -- all but 5 for $9.99. That's an "illogical consideration" of about 5%. And then we have WP's auto floormat guy, who continues to beat his chest over WP, yet after nearly a year and 19,200+ listings later, shows only one sale back in July of a $23 flashlight - leaving rubber on the pavement and about as logical as they come with a .005% sell-thru rate.
