Well, I must say...I just have been pissed off by Wagglepop Admin.. I posted a question asking if anyone who has bids, if any of the bids are from non wagglepop store owners.. I asked this twice and my post have been removed twice..I emailed to ask why it was removed and he replied he did not have to say.. WTF... what is so bad about asking if there are any outside bidders????????/
Welcome to the censored, ego-centric, cultist world of Ray Romeo and Wagglepop. With this question of yours you are now red-flagged, and should you persist in your treasonous behavior you will be excommunicated and labeled a troll, infidel, infiltrator, deadbeat or worse. By the way, did you not just buy a Calvin Klein skirt from me on eBay, or are there two Chrisassts in the world? |

WTF... what is so bad about asking if there are any outside bidders????????/
What's so bad about it? Well... we've been asking ourselves the same question for 2 years now. I got kicked off WP for asking when they would advertise. Welcome to the club. That's what WP is all about... censorship, dishonestly and flat out BS!! edited to add: I wrote this to chris in the hopes that he/she checks back in withe the TT thread (I know this was a quote from WP) But I also wanted to add... THAT is the precise reason we no longer sell at WP and are now proud members of TT. You should read this entire thread... you may change your mind about selling at WP. Censorship is only the tip of the iceberg. When the berg rolls over there's a lot more to be seen. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
WP Store update: 253 and falling. Close to HALF of the stores have LESS THAN 50 items. About 1/5 are in the express lane with 10 items or less. Wonder if Ray's pushing up the October "restructuring" plans or perhaps gearing up for another spamathon when eBays feedback changes take effect this summer.
Oh, I think Chrissast deleted her post and may be too embarrassed to come back here as lurking disciples/cheerleaders probably got on her case and/or tattled to Ray about her. |

Quote:gearing up for another spamathon when eBays feedback changes take effect this summer. I don't think there will be an exodus from eBay when the new feedback rules go into effect on May 1st. Not being able to leave feedback for buyers isn't going to kill anyone's business. Those of us who sell on websites and Amazon have never been able to leave feedback for buyers and one-sided feedback hasn't hurt our businesses. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Condensed version of El Boinktardo's latest blatherings
Quote:I wanted to take some time today to let everyone know that we are very near completion now in detail of the overall plan to restructure Wagglepop in Q3 2008 for the long term future and success of both our company and our loyal membership. Quote:As we have discussed before, the original vision of Wagglepop as a direct eBay competitor is going to be unfulfilled, and as such we are abandoning near completely that vision and restructuring to be able to provide and support a much smaller specialty site - likely with around 200 or so (projected estimated) SmartSell Pro Marketplace Merchants total. Quote:We will have the official announcements on or about 6/1/08 for changes starting 10/1/08 at the latest - a date which may be accelerated to 8/1/08 should the current participatory trends continue with no indication of meeting the "last ditch" 750 Stores challenge we have discussed previously. I have no restruture details that I can share or discuss until that announcement in June. The really condensed version: SmartSellPro subscriptions will be increased * * * * * * Another board participation reminder. Quote:I would ask that members please refresh their understanding of the Board Participation Policy and this Clarification of Board Participation Policy. translation: Ray makes LiveWorld look like champions of free speech.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:...in this effort to reconfigure Wagglepop more closely to what it is, rather than what it might have been had the non-participating online selling community showed a bit more propensity for action over talk. The boinkard just couldn't resist planting that dig. That if the past sellers, old and new, had continued to blindly pay their monthly, continued to list to an audience of minimal traffic, hence continually lining his pockets (instead of closing shop); he wouldn't have had to take such a hard-nosed stand. How many times will these mindless sellers accept being chastised by an illusionist? How long will the wonderful, warm, fuzzy, supportive, helpful atmosphere of WP carry weight with these knuckleheads?!? Aren't they there to make sales instead of friends? Don't these sellers see/feel the desperation of the "founders" to bend over backwards to keep them active on WP? Do they not recognize pity sales as such, as a bone tossed to them to keep them limping along with false hope until the next billing period hits? Have they never learned that misery likes company? These aren't legitimate sellers. These are blind subjects of a pretender to the throne. History won't look upon them any more favourably then their predecessors who tried to conquer the world.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.
