Is the fee increase posted anywhere other than the WP forums area? If not, I wonder how many poppers who don't read the WP forums are going to get a nasty surprise come June. [/quote] The forum is the only way I found out. Never received an email of the announcement. Good thing I read the threads before time to pay again. I guess they consider the announcment in the forum giving people notice. Shifty!!! |

The announcements page http://www.wagglepop.com/bin/Accessory/announcements Quote:Does anybody know if any aknowledgment of the rate increase is at all part of the disclosures in new seller registration? The user agreement on the registration page states that The fees associated with selling on Wagglepop are clearly stated in the Selling Fees section of the Help Center. . The selling fees page has a note that the SmartSellPro package is being retired on 6/1 and there's a link to the announcements page, but there's no explicit mention on the help page that fees will be tripling. The fees listed on the help page are still the old SmartSellPro rates. http://www.wagglepop.com/bin/Help?cmd=view&pages=sellingFees

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
There was a post on the psu Wagglepop thread by one popper who found out about the increase thru the BluJay forums then asked a question about it on the WP forums and had their post pulled. They are pissed. They said that they never received any notification via email or any other route.
They are closing their store today. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
If I am understanding this right. They are going to automatically convert the Smart Sell Package to this more expensive package and the members are unaware that they will now be paying 29.95 instead of 9.95? :blinkie:
Tell me I read that wrong ???

Is their phone verification process still in place or do buyers still have to sign up to purchase?

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Well, I seriously doubt they have any buyers so phone verification is a moot point. Seriously, I don't know and I don't know of anyone who has ever tried to register once they started that bullshit.
Yes, indeedy, they think they are being super sly. They are NOT telling the sellers and I do imagine that if stores are not closed PRONTO sellers will automatically be upcharged. Business 101, huh Raytard?
I hate stupid people!

Does WP have automatic pay? Ya know, when they just automatically charge your card each month or do you actually have to go in and pay it manually.
If they do have autopay... there's gonna be some pissed off poppers... And yes Amethyst... you read that right... |

Boinktard only accepts manual payments through PayPal. I do believe that arrangements can be made to send Money Order, but it has to get to Boinktards hands on time. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Thanks for clearing that up...
Well... at least no one will get charged unexpectedly... that's a good thing!! I am still in shock that he uses the forums to give information to the sellers... I sold on eBay for over a year before I ventured into the forums the first time. (It's scary there... :blinkie: ) I can't imagine what that Boinktard thinks on a daily basis... |
