I find it ironic that they use the phrase:

"and allow potential buyers maximum flexibility when shopping. "

Whether you have buyers or not, the staff should refer to all buyers as buyers, not potential buyers.

Quote:before Ray took another $9.95  from him (and for the month AFTER).

It's $19.90--he has 2 stores and both are still open.

I wonder if the month AFTER fee is also charged to the people paying $39.95/$49.95 monthly for a showcase store when they close their stores.

Quote:we'll have a test period for about 4-6 weeks to work out any bugs or issues.

Great.  A test period that runs from now until Christmas and screws with search.  Ray must have learned that holiday trick from eBay. :Smile

It should also read..."intricate bundle of crap".

What's with the migration thing? Birds of a feather theory?

Freudian slip.  He's actually admitting there are no current buyers.

Quote:...but remember, this is a guy who has an unsavory history and exists in his present form only through Karen. What would the world of serious, savvy, e-commerce people think about the way he does "business?" No, I'd say he's more afraid of being discovered and becoming the laughing stock of the world of e-commerce.

EDIT TO ADD: besides the problem in that thread, they're using a cheap $200 auction script.
