I see she answered after you asked a second time and said it's perfectly normal to be able to do that.  Scammers are going to have a field day. Happy001

"It may be something we'll have to review, but for the most part, we're not anticipating any issues for the vast majority of member transactions."

I am STUNNED.  I don't know why, but I am.

I thought the mods where going to sticky this thread to the bottom of the barrel?

Pssst call lieworld.. they know how to do it.

I remember them doing that to some huge threads when the music cat. and others rollouts came online and some of the tech. LONG threads about ebay
not being any fun anymore a few years back.

You could post on some of those threads all day long
and they would NOT bump back up to page one.

Just another trick in lieworlds arsenal. So please go ask lieworld how it is done OK?

SHIT I just bumped this thread back up.  Happy001

Wow.  Even better than eBay.  On WP, you can buy a poster *thinking* you are paying the stated $4 shipping and the seller can change it after your purchase to $8.

I am STUNNED. [/quote]

I'm not.  After he left 4000 email addresses sitting out in the open on a forum page for 2 months last year I fully expect him to show a complete lack of concern about security and fraud prevention.

I am in a reallllllly pizzy mood today.

With that said, I can NOT believe WP doesn't "anticipate any issues" of being able to revise a CLOSED listing!!

While I am pizzing and moaning... My impression (from reading their boards) is that WP is not open for suggestions about ANYTHING.

iron_chick,

Wagglepop is a 100% trust-based community. We don't think, in general, it's necessary to over-regulate sellers or place hard-wired restrictions for each and every component of transacting.

Basically, we trust our members to behave in the ways that are proper and appropriate, in every regard.

Likely, even a single report of a seller who knowingly manipulates the terms of sale in an overt attempt to deceive a buyer will be suspended or more likely terminated.

With trust comes freedom.

With freedom comes responsibility Smile

That is even better then eBay's BS.

I tried...

I tried not to judge WP from last year's performance.
I tried to be open minded.
WP looks like eBay and is run like eBay... only worse.
