I'm guessing that in a few hours the store count will go up to at least 675. Seems like that is his favorite store number lately.  Icon_scratch

Ray will just keep counting those current stores that have closed as active, and of course keep their listings in the count too.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Money, It's for Ray
Open a store, upgrade it and You're OK
Money, It's for Ray
Grabs that cash with both hands and makes a stash
New Car, Caviar, Four Star Daydream,
Think I'll buy me a Football Team.

Money, It's for Ray
It's alright, Jack, keep your hands off my stack
Money, It's for Ray
Drink Kool-aid, share your wares, eat breakfast
I'm in the hi-fidelity first class traveling set
And I think I need a Lear Jet

Money, it's a crime,
Share it fairly  but don't take a slice of Ray's pie
Money, so they say
Is the root of all evil today
But If I ask for a rise it's no surprise that they're
giving none away.
:turkey2: :turkey2: :turkey2: :turkey2: :turkey2:

I know it's not nearly as good as the others posted, but this just hit me so I had to post it. >Big Grin

Sorry, Pink Floyd, I just couldn't help myself on this one.

I'll still stick with implosion by the 30th of December. There may be a few sports card folks left, but not enough to keep $ in Ray's bank.  RR is rapidly shooting himself in the foot.  Invading people's privacy and reading/deleting private messages should be a big eye opener.  Losing only a few stores a day is not exactly dropping like flies, however.  When it happens, it will be like 20 a day for a while, and then the lemmings will suddednly desert rapidly, and it will all come crashing down.  Looking forward to it.  Smile

Quote:Hello Members,

Among the many excellent posts in the thread, I'd like to refer anyone with the time to read in particular fully the multiple posts in this thread by member H98 (edited by me).

They are full of real-world, experienced, and impressively smart business ideas, actions, and plans.

For sellers who are looking for a business model and approach to mimic, H98 has all the right ideas Smile

No question and I'm saying this seriously. This seller does have good marketing stategy. BUT HOW ABOUT A LITTLE HELP from the owner of the auction site who should show some appreciation and support for such a dedicated seller.  A seller who could move to another venue, pocket the 9.95 a month, do the same aggressive selling and do even better! Angryfire

And speaking of appreciation, I recall a post made by CC1 about 3 months ago, when I was a still an obedient popper, that stated a surprise, a reward was coming for all the loyal sellers in good standing.  Well...in which lifetime will this reward be bestowed?

Here I go again... Gagamaggot Gagamaggot Gagamaggot

Losing 270 stores in 3 months, almost 30%, might qualify as dropping like flies. ;D

CC1 is making up for lost time when previously occupied today with deleting posts, reading emails (some deletion was required) and closing accounts.

On the PROVEN SALES TACTICS thread:

Quote:The general formula would be to offer items and products that are in demand, fairly priced, delivered with speed and attention to detail.

Selling online may be the single most competitive selling dynamic *ever*, so sellers need to find ways to "stand out" from the sometimes crowded and ever-growing field.

The single most valuable resource any business has is a "happy" customer. Happy customers have grown businesses stronger and faster than anything else can or will.

Focus on the needs of your customers, and you're focusing on your long-term business success Smile

Karen - WP Customer Care

Well, I couldn't agree more...so bring them the blasted customers!!! Work with me people...er person!!! :poopbanaana: Boinktard
