You better watch out
You better not pry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Raybil is cleaning the boards

He's making a list,
And checking it twice;
Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice.
Raybil is cleaning the boards

He sees you when you're posting
He knows every mistake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

O! You better watch out!
You better not pry.
Better not pout, I'm telling you why.

I SUPPOSE THE "FAREWELL" BOARD IS MEANT TO REPLACE THE "BUYING" BOARD. At least the "Farewell" board is destined to get posts.

[b]I SUPPOSE THE "FAREWELL" BOARD .
[/quote]

Ray finally did something "revolutionary".  No other auction site in the history of online auctions has ever had a "farewell board".  Smile

If I was a Wagglepop seller, or potential seller, the presence of that board would be my clue to avoid the site.

Quote:Hello Members,

We are happy to announce the following addition to the Community forums:

Farewells and Well Wishes

You'll find this new forum under the heading of Other Discussion Boards.

Effective immediately, any and all announcements of closure or impending closure or considering closure will be limited to this new forum only.

Posts about closure will no longer be allowed in any of the Community Help Boards or the Category Specific Discussion Boards.

It's basically being moved to another forum where nobody will see it.  They know perfectly well, the store forum is the only one that gets any views. I think they would have banned it completely if it wasn't for some of the more dedicated poppers stating they wanted it kept but in one thread.
Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly

Okay...I am a Member, but normally just lurk.   Wave

I watched the entire WP1 from start to finish and I've followed this thread from day one.
I've enjoyed all of your posts (including the songs), which brings me to what finally brought me out of lurkdom.

I couldn't resist any longer....

I Believed In a Fruitful WP Christmas

They said there'd be sales at Christmas,
They said WP’d be the best place to sell on earth,
But instead it just kept on raining,
A veil of tears for the Wagglepop re-birth.

I remember one Breakfast Club morning,
The Wagglepop's light and a distant cheerleading choir,
And the peal of an email bell and Christmas Sales money smell,
And eyes full of tinsel and fire.

They sold me a dream of a Wagglepop Christmas,
They sold me AdSmart one night,
They told me a Revolution fairy story,
'Til I believed in the Wagglepop-lite.

And I believed in a Fruitful WP Christmas,
And I looked to my hit counter with excited eyes,
Then I woke with a yawn in the first light of dawn,
And I saw KaRay and through his disguise.

I wish you a hopeful Christmas,
I wish you a brave WP-free New Year,
All anguish, pain and sadness,
Leave your heart and let your road from WP be clear.

They said there'd be sales at Christmas,
They said WP'd be the best place to sell on earth,
Hallelujah! Noel!, be it Heaven or Hell,
The Christmas we get, we deserve.

Back to lurking now.  Smile
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Dear WP members, the following changes in Forums is effective immediately. Please note that we have deleted the "Buyers" Forum, as it received no posts and we don't want to give potential recruits the uncomfortable (albeit correct) notion that there are none.

* Sellers who have had sales may post on the "Sellers who Claim to Have Had a Sale" board. We expect few posts, so please elaborate at will.

* Sellers who have yet to have a sale may post of the "Sellers Without Sales" board. We expect this to be a popular board, so be brief and don't give any indication that you might be the least bit discouraged, as this is not constructive and your post will be deleted. Only long-haulers may post here.

* Sellers with questions on advertising will have no board. Such discussions are impolite , non-constructive and makes us all uncomfortable in both open forum and personal messaging.

* Sellers with questions about spamming may post them on the "Spamalot" board. This is a board for mutual encouragement and enrichment. Please feel free to share your techniques and praise of others' accomplishments.

* Sellers with questions about how to close your store can post on the "Close Your Store" board. Please note, that any member who wishes to provide information on how to close a store is in jeopardy of account cancellation.

* Sellers wishing to do a feedback exchange or need to beef up the FB score may post on the "Fudge Feedback" board. Here you will get helpful tips on how to leave feedback multiple times without actually having to exchange merchandise, how to get any negs you may have removed at will, and how to buy feedback from other sellers.

* Sellers who are closing stores and saying goodbye may post on the "Farewell" Board. Smilies, Kumbayas, and sweet violins only, please. We all know you are closing due to no sales, but we don't want it said here, just how sad you are for having to leave us and how much you'll miss WP. Boo-hoo. DO NOT talk about better things, where you are going, or what you will be doing. This does not make a "comfortable" environment for the fools left behind.

Thank you for making WP the peaceloving, Koolaid community that we are. And don't forget that your monthly payment is due by Dec. 20. This is a trust-based community, so get paid up before we start sending out our usual battery of threatening collection notices.

KaRay
