Hello Members,

I am extremely pleased to be able to update everyone regarding the often-asked dynamic of site marketing and exposure.

Beginning over the next 10-14 days, we will begin the marketing of Wagglepop on what can best be described as a "very large" scale.

While I cannot discuss precise details of our internal marketing strategy, I can relate in generalities that it will use elements from targeted search engine paid placement, strategic text and banner ads, and some conventional print advertising.

The print advertsing will likely appear in 45-60 days due to publication lead times.

In addition, we'll be releasing our first press release and running a handful of charity auctions. Although we contribute as a company to charities regularly, we feel that running public auctions sponsored by Wagglepop will benefit both those charities and WP membership alike.

Between now and the "launch" of the campaign, we will be reviewing each and every seller account to be sure that those accounts are active and in good standing, and reflective of our dedicated seller body.

In doing so, we will ensure a shopping environment that buyers who will be visiting us for the first time can count on, and that potential new sellers will want to be a part of.

Based on internal projections, we anticipate this campaign has the potential to triple organic site traffic in just 60-90 days.

We would like to thank all of our membership for their patience and support while we worked together to bring us to this important point as we create the future of Wagglepop, together

As of this moment, KaRay has made 7 announcements concerning new features and resources for the sellers including the much sought after WP merchandise with bumper stickers, etc.  

This reeks of Ray panic.  Hold on to what you have with desperation until the next eBay fee hike.  Then, lure more sellers over and blind them with great customer service and

I just noticed the other announcements. It does appear to be a attempt to save WP.

Edit: I noticed most of the announcements have no firm dates other than sometime in the first quarter.

What I love BEST about this wonderful new progrm is that both MEMBERS and NON-MEMBERS can purchase these dopey items (which most companies simply give away, and write off as "advertising and promotion"), whereas only MEMBERS are allowed to purchase items WP's own SELLERS have for sale. I CAN'T BELIEVE THE EGO!!!!!!!!!!!  

And, by the way, what could be "historical" items? Plaster casts of the doggy-do Ray claims to have received through the mail?  A true collector's item, for sure. What's next? Wagglebucks? Wagglepoints? And of course, the ultimate "WAGGLE LAND", where you can take the "E"-ticket ride through the great tunnel into business question oblivion, where your car stops half-way and you're ejected for wondering what the tunnel opens into.

This site has to be the laughing stock of the e-commerce world.

What's odd is that after posting these things over 15 minutes ago, very few poppers are replying.  One topic doesn't even have a response from an excited popper.
