Since there is supposedly no such username anymore, how does it allow the sale to go through? Truth, you had that happen, how did you know you sold the item?

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
OK - hold up a second. Look at the listings carefully.
First of all, in the title bar it shows the date my listing ended (even though it looks active). Second, scroll all the way to the bottom. The "Ready to Buy?" section is gone (compare it to active listings if you don't remember what it should look like). Now, he very well could be using those to fudge numbers, in fact I believe he probably is. However, it doesn't appear that a purchase could actually be made which is really all I ultimately care about.

Quote:WOW!! In Ray's defense (did I just say that) :blinkie: :blinkie: :blinkie: , he isn't a programmer. There is a chance that this is an RScript programming flaw in which case it would affect similar GTC listings on all sites that use the script -including TheAuctionMan.net, Lowbid. If the over counting/failure to cancel listings when an account/store is closed is due to the script maker rather than Ray... |

Quote:WAGGLEFACT OF THE DAY! I agree that this may be a program flaw but read my wagglefact above. Notice the dates in both the email of my store termination and the email to the buyer about there purchase. Something screwy in waggleland.
Just so no one panics (like I almost did), you cannot make a purchase from any of these listings so they are not truly 'active'. If you click the Purchase button or the best offer button, they are merely anchors to the bottom "Ready to buy?" section. That section has been removed. And kind of in Ray's defense (yep, I said it too) you can view inactive/sold listings on eBay for 60 or 90 days as well. Granted, its a little clearer that the listing is over, but its still there.

Truth wrote: "I truely believe we are going to have to start a class action suit against WP."
...................................................................... How is any consumer (buyer/seller) damaged by WP's conduct? Has WP breached its contract with sellers? How has WP torted any seller? Did WP ever agree that it could guarantee traffic/sales, to or on, its site? ................................................................ That WP is a "bad investment" for sellers is neither untrue, nor a cause of action. If EBAY holds its fees at current levels, WP will fold quickly. If EBAY hikes its fees, WP will get a bump up. Either way, anybody who wastes their time at WP, probably should have known better. |
It's been my experience that anyone that sells on WP isn't in it to make money... just to pray, chant, sing kumbaya and give huggies to their friends. That said... I highly doubt that they would have known "better" as you say and I think it's gonna take a serious wake up call before they know "better". |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Way back when DeepRiverMan, and his many aliases, was constantly tooting SILVER CHARMS LIQUIDATORS and the feedback they have received on multiple forum boards as the model of what can be accomplished at Wagglepoop. SCL is a Showcase store today with 1462 positive feedback. Impressive yes, believable no. I've been doing some digging (while I was in England) and here are my observations. I'll be including a lot of links but if you follow the research you'll spot what I have. I believe in coincidence but this evidence is beyond that.
http://www.wagglepop.com/bin/auction/vie...w_feedback&userID=132&sort=-4&page=1 I'll start each snippet with the SCL buyer name that left feedback. In some cases, where comparing, observe the wording of it. Next will be a link to the feedback for an eBay buyer and/or seller using the exact same name. Every one I researched exists on eBay, some active, some dormant. Odd that the same combo of letters/numbers in the ID names would be identical. What are the odds? Observe the location of some of them that are on eBay. I was lead to believe International sellers/buyers couldn't sign up???? From SCL feedback IDs: sniksnak (71) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MemberLeft&memberid=sniksnak&items=-1&item=-1&de=off Notes: Bailed from eBay Mar/05. Cannot confirm if purchases were charms/jewelery. Wording for feedback left on both sites used very similar wording emphasizing great packaging which seems important to this buyer. Karay buyer account perhaps? ____________________________________________________________________ 1945ck (63) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MemberLeft&memberid=1945ck&items=-1&item=-1&de=off Notes: Bailed from eBay Jun/06. Cannot confirm if purchases were charms/jewelery. Wording of feedback not similar but what are to odds of 2 ID's made up like this. _____________________________________________________________________________ clur6805 (99) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MemberLeft&memberid=clur6805&items=-1&item=-1&de=off Notes: Still active on eBay buying charms. Wording of feedback extremely similar and repetitious. WP location London, eBay location U.K. - same country. Another coincidental ID combo of letters and numbers. _____________________________________________________________________ craftymom (76) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MemberLeft&memberid=craftymom&items=-1&item=-1&de=off Notes: Bailed from eBay Aug/06. Cannot confirm if purchases were charms/jewelery. Not similar feedback wording but both like to use A++++. ______________________________________________________________________ bettyandmeplus (5) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MemberLeft&memberid=meandbetty&items=-1&item=-1&de=off Notes: Still active on eBay buying jewelery type items among others. Identical feedback with "thank you very much !!" used at both places. Quite possibly legit. _______________________________________________________________________ jane8171 (58) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MemberLeft&memberid=jane8171&items=-1&item=-1&de=off Notes: Still active on eBay buying miscellaneous items. Feedback on both show small a with +++ following. WP location East Sussex, eBay location U.K. - same country. Another coincidental ID combo of letters and numbers. _______________________________________________________________________ mylittlegems (11) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=mylittlegems Notes: Dormant account created in 2002. Cannot confirm if purchases were charms/jewelery but then only one purchase ever made through eBay. No feedback to comare to. WP location Northolt, eBay location U.K. - same country. ________________________________________________________________________ MrsTweedy (17) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MemberLeft&memberid=mrstweedy&items=-1&item=-1&de=off Notes: Dormant since Jan/03. Cannot confirm if purchases were charms/jewelery. WP location Derbyshire, eBay location Germany. Moved in the meantime? ________________________________________________________________________ AWRYCRAFT (30) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MemberLeft&memberid=awrycraft&items=-1&item=-1&de=off Notes: Still active on eBay. Buys charms. Feedback on both identical. Most likely legitimate sales. ________________________________________________________________________ jayneratbag (58) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MemberLeft&memberid=jayneratbag&items=-1&item=-1&de=off Notes: Still active on eBay. Buys charms and jewelery and resells but no present auctions listed. Feedback on both usually includes thanks typed as such. WP location in Wolverhampton, eBay location in U.K. - same country. ID name to odd to be coincidental. _________________________________________________________________________ foxy_loxy100 (66) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MemberLeft&memberid=foxy_loxy100&items=-1&item=-1&de=off Notes: Still active on eBay. Hasn't sold since Jul/05 but actively buys including charms and jewelery. Identically worded feedback for most items. WP location in Snaresbrook, eBay location in U.K. - same country. Combination of letters and numbers in ID name too odd to be coincidental. _________________________________________________________________________ I've only gone back 3 weeks in this research so imagine what other gems could to be found if we dug further. Ultimately my point is that of course SCL has an impressive feedback count. Probably due to the fact that they appear to be the only ones on Wagglepoop with the privilege of selling Internationally. Something that Karay claimed isn't possible at the present - foreign registration. Something that the eager Wagglers have been dying for not realizing that one in their midst already has this option proving that international registration is already possible. ANOTHER BLINKIN SCAM!!!!! There is more wool being pulled over the eyes of the WP sheep than exists on their backs. At WP2land they have got to start realizing they are being sheared by this latest revelation. report.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.
