Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
A few new posts were made to the Alexa stats thread going over there. Specifically, they were encouraged to check out quantcast.com as it shows more detail about WP's traffic. As usual, the "whole picture" wasn't given.
Audience Composition: Passersby: 88% Regular Visitors: 13% Share of those visits: Passersby: 65% Regular Visitors: 35% Quantcast's definition of passersby: A term used to define a segment of a sites audience that aren't repeat visitors, but rather have a single visit over the course of a month. Certain sites may get a very high volume of Passers By who are directed to that site on the basis of, for example, a news article but have no reason to return once they have read the piece that is referenced. Typically Passers By can account for a large amount of the reach that a site has, but a small fraction of the totalvisits. (bolding mine) So Poppers - once again, the information you were given is INcorrect. Go look for yourself.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Howdy folks!
I lurk lots, but don't post often... but I wanted to jump in and say thanks for the links to dnScoop.com and leapfish.com. I plugged in my kididdles.com Web site just for kicks, and got the following values: dnScoop.com: $56,712 LeapFish.com: $639,275 !!!!! Why there is such a discrepancy between the two, I have no idea, but if anybody knows anybody who wants to buy at the LeapFish price, I'm ready to deal! LOL! Hope you are all well... (I might add, you're a tough bunch to keep up with!) :-) Terry ----------------------------------------------- Visit my new online store at: http://www.wakemeupbeforeyoulogo.com/catalog |
