Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
And now my next installment of the Waggle Myth:
Did you know that any member who signs up can create a My Wagglepoop page? There are a lot of very clever people who have done just that. Registered, with no intention of buying, but to cover the potential of gaining exposure to their personal web businesses or their stores on other venues if WP ever takes off. I have found literally hundreds of these. They are all 'borrowing' KaRay's bandwidth to advertise their own interests - not WP. Isn't that a hoot? Here is an example for you that is one of my favourites. Especially because it advertises a non-North American entity despite a Minnesota registration: http://www.wagglepop.com/bin/UserPages/BigMango Hey Ray, better exercise your delete finger. You've got your work cut out for you. BTW, CC1 started a thread today advising to the faithful that 29 stores had to be closed due to non-payment. It contained the usual rah-rah. A number of people responded. One pointed out that they could not understand why the bottom 43 stores would continue to pay 9.95 a month, month after month, with little inventory listed. What transpired later I don't know but the next time I went to view the thread it was gone...
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

Is Ray bragging about the number of stores pulled a month? Or threatening? JoJo |

Quote:We haven't been given the particulars of the advertising blitz as the competition can play very dirty so that kind of thing is kept on the hush-hush until after it breaks. You know, if they told us, they'd have to kill us?? Not only has the feebay mess created bad feelings for folks about ebay, but lots of folks have just plain turned bitter and there's all sorts of nasty stuff that happens between venues. Gosh, the stuff that happened to Wagglepop the first time around... its a miracle our founder refused to just lay down and die the first time. These folks play dirty. Another one of those posts that just makes you clutch your stomach. Who needs WP CC when you've got cult members poppers like this? Edit to add - does that phrase "our founder" really sound scary up there? JoJo |

They will never see that Ray IS what caused the WP1 meltdown...not the 'trolls' or any other venue trying to cause trouble. Ray is and was the single biggest downfall of WP.
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
when, when, when will the poppers realize that ANY venue has that many non-paying stores absolutely COULD NOT survive.
Just because KaRay plays hide and go seek with the ghost stores should not make the paying poppers cheer. This is getting very scary. I know of no other company that keeps an advertising campaign "hush hush" this close to a big event like a Grand Opening. Hell, even the Superbowl commercials are previewed a couple of days before the game. Quote:Wagglepop has exhibited wonderful transparency Truer words were never spoken. We see right through you KaRay.

Now that the culling of the herd has been completed of all those nasty delinquents , KaRay is already switching on ghost stores. Here's one being activated as I type. http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/secondchancegifts It has been a while since he has used this one. It could be on it's last hurrah. Notice all items are store listings - harder to find with SEO. He has learned though to re-activate the listings with new listing numbers instead of relisting from the original ones. A poorly disguised attempt to add legitimacy to his pet projects. BTW scoop, I mentioned Ginny to you, and her store mysteriously closed today. Are we to believe she has paid 9.95 a month up until now to keep an empty store alive? And this month she was delinquent? Were you able to successfully get in touch with Ginny for her side of the story? Ray: [/quote] YOHB hi no I had not emailed her yet. When I read your post here I emailed her before I forgot again. I'll let you know if I hear from her. I can't beleive that anyone would pay the store fee for months to keep an empty store that just doesn't make sense. I've been very busy lately opening new stores and doing a website. Also I've been trying to get all my listings copied from WP so I could close them and close the store before I was billed for the next month. I failed in that attempt so now there is no rush. I didn't feel too good for a couple of days so that didn't help the process. I'm feeling better now. I think there are going to be some very disappointed sellers on WP come Thurs. I just don't see this explosion in traffic happening. I also still find it odd that they will not say just what is supposed to bring all this traffic. In one announement they say they expect extremly high traffic I doubt that very much. I remember they also said we were supposed to see an increase this week leading up to the grand opening I have not seen any kind of increase at all. |

Quote:However, in all areas, Wagglepop has exhibited wonderful transparency, so once the grand opening kicks off, I'm sure we will all be informed of whats going on. That's right, KaRay. It's not hard to see through all the smoke that you blow up Poppers asses. |

I believe that people request Ray to close the stores, and he sits on the requests until the deadline for fees is up. He then goes in an closes them all at once. That way he covers up the fact that so many stores are leaving willingly, and tells the poppers they haven't paid. What other venue announces their "deadbeat sellers"? If Ray really did have that high of a rate of non paying stores, he would have already shut WP down himself. |
