Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:The precise plans (both short and long term), methods, partnerships, contingencies, and budget distributions simply cannot be disclosed publicly. Gimme a break. The Information Policy was evidently designed to cover his butt so he never had to disclose anything at any time. Most other sites take GREAT pride in their latest marketing efforts. There is NOTHING so proprietary to WP's "marketing" strategy that they couldn't at least vaguely spell out what they're doing. Although, I guess its a bit hard to disclose "nothing" which is what the marketing plan amounts to. Edited cuz I can't spell today!! Edited again because this is just really pissing me off again and I'm going to follow Myo and vent! Interesting discussion? It certainly would be you fraud! Who exactly do you consider your competition? Do you really think eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Ecrater, etc. really give a rat's patootie what the hell your marketing plans are? Get a grip! Your ego is showing through loud and clear and while I have gone back and forth on the KaRay issue - your colors are showing Ray. Just as bright and cheery as those ugly banners that constitute your revolutionary advertising campaign. For you poppers that are on the fence - go NOW. Please don't lose all of your listings which is exactly what will happen when Ray's temper and ego get the best of him. You can't get back the time or money you've invested - but don't put yourself in a position to lose all your hard work, too. Ray isn't worth it.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
myobeeswax,
I have to admit, I've noticed you lurking for weeks, not as a 'guest' but with a proper ID, and I was waiting for the day when you felt comfortable enough to step out in the open. Consider this your very own Grand Opening! And we're pleased to share it with you. You made an excellent well thought out initial post. Thank you for conveying these thoughts to us. We know how you feel. Sherry PS: And don't worry about defending the cult thing. It applies to only some of the sellers - not all. Besides, discussing it openly here has great trigger value as Alskling can attest to. It not only sets off their indignation but mobilizes the Karma Gremlins to retaliate. Don't be a stranger, come back and let us know how you are making out and if you need help in any area, this site (not this thread) is loaded with great expertise to point you in the right direction.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

From a popper...
Quote:hey everyone love all the new perks and twists that have been added to the site - love it!!! Have we missed something or is this seller truly that excited over two banners? Ray's ploy worked somewhat. The thread where the question was asked about the marketing has now dissolved into discussions about the upcoming TV commercial. : Overall though, the excitement seems to have died down and been replaced by discussions about the bad weather. The buyers/bidders board is stone silent.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
The reaction to the new "invite family and friends" link just cracks me up. Like the thought never occurred to Poppers to do this on their own before this great, dynamic, innovative feature was added today?
Does Ray see his flock as mindless drones that need point to point direction? Geesh. Hey lurkers, the is running out. The is becoming painful. The results are pitiful. The end is inevitable. Think about it. No skin off our backs. We have the luxury of sitting here :popcorneaters: and watching the show. :raypoop: is rocking your boat and blowing out more smoke than that produced from the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and resulting fire. Don't be a casualty - evacuate! Oh...before you do, unfasten your seatbelt. :turkey2:
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
New post:
Quote:Hello Members, Am I to understand, that with all the major marketing WP has done today with its rah, rah GRAND OPENING, the net result is that Poppers have managed to get all of 100 of their friends and family to join and buy something? Or does this mean that of the last 100 registrants from whenever, 27 have purchased? What about the few thousand that registered prior to the last 100? I was a member over 3 months and never purchased a thing. Or wait! Maybe it means that only those who can stomach the phone registration BS process because there's something they really want to buy are now the only members registering. What really does this post prove? |
