Anyhow welcome to TT [/quote] Thanks for the welcome I do sell on eCRATER - I was Ozzie's World at WP (for my dog) - don't mind saying it since I have no thoughts of returning there so have no problems with delete-happy fingers. I use eCRATER and my own website to sell from and have more luck with them. eCRATER was slow at first (but free) and now things are picking up there for me... and it's still free! Enjoy! |

Hi MoonMAJiC!
And Congrats on your sales picking up at eCrater. I think YOHB, Fine & Truth have been digging deep and finding a lot of the ghost stores. I don't know an exact number, but from what they've hinted at...it's a bunch! :blinkie: Maybe one of them will check in here shortly and can give us an idea. I'm curious to know too.
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Girls are more prone to mammary tumors but always welcome new girls - they're more inquisitive too. I'm not sure why or how Ozzie learned the difference between 'family' and 'non-family (outdoor)' rodents, and they do have their spouts between the cage, but he knows they're all family if inside and you don't eat family :blinkie: |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
WP Ghost store count = 200 + or -
Please note YOHB said she will be posting about the ghost stores soon so my info is not to take away from her research and my numbers should be considered conservative. Breakdown: active ghost stores = 30+ inactive ghost stores = 75+ *Conned stores* = 90+ *My definition of a conned store: A store that is opened by a seller that serves no other purpose other then to pad the store count by listing the same or similar items in a different store. Why do I include the conned stores with the ghost store count? Simple, many sellers have opened 2nd and 3rd stores with the sole intention to make themselves feel better about there venue of choice. Most of these stores are forgotten about after about a weeks worth of listings (under 100 listings in most cases but not all). Because Ka/Ray has conned them into believing WP is succeeding, These sellers have taken it upon themselves to have there own verson of the numbers fudge, open a second store with the same items and sometimes a third. Because these stores in most cases have the same items as the sellers original store, they serve no other purpose other then to pad the store count and Ray's pockets. Having multiple stores can be profitable but not with the same or similar items in each store, your items must be different and not 3 or more stores selling sports cards. As I have said before there is only about 100 people actively selling on WP, I still stand by that number. The sales report proves the blind face lies Ray is dishing out left and right. End of rant for tonight and I will followup about conned stores in my next wagglefact of the day. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." |
