Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Truth,
Apart from the "Conned" stores, there are many stores showing in categories that contain absolutely nothing to do with that category. E.g., stores show up in the "coin" category that sell no coins whatsoever. Stores show up in the "travel" catetory, and none have anything to do with travel. I don't know the reasoning behind this, except to impress browsers into thinking that WP offers items in a variety of categories, when in fact, it does not. Fact is, WP is composed largely of trading cards, postcards, books, magazines/mag ads and jewelry supplies. Furthermore, considering Ray himself did nothing but sell ads and trading/sports cards on eBay, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Ray is the ghost owner of many stores with identical items. Rewind to eBay. Despite what Ray might lead Poppers to believe, he was not a big seller on eBay. He spent more time nasty kangarooing, complaining and throwing temper tantrums and didn't sell all that much. I've surmised all along that at least part of the reason he started WP was because he was too cheap, too lazy, and too inexperienced to start his own web site to sell his own crap, especially with all the competition in that space. So his grand plan was to "invent" this bogus auction site, have the faithful foot the expense and do all the work of building a business for him. Not only does he have a venue to sell his crap, but a steady income from monthly store fees, etc. and from selling Popper email lists and other info to spamming "partners." He'll milk the money cow until the teats dry up, and move on. That's his style. Even if WP goes down like a lead Titanic, he still has untold lists of Poppers and X-Poppers he can use to spam for his next cult venture or continue to sell or trade to "partner" spammers. All part of the GRAND DECEPTION. Magic -- good post on PSU |

WP Ghost store count = 200 + or -
Please note YOHB said she will be posting about the ghost stores soon so my info is not to take away from her research and my numbers should be considered conservative. Breakdown: active ghost stores = 30+ inactive ghost stores = 75+ *Conned stores* = 90+ *My definition of a conned store: A store that is opened by a seller that serves no other purpose other then to pad the store count by listing the same or similar items in a different store. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." Truth,
Thanks for your post regarding the ghost stores. I had NO IDEA that the count was so high. I'm really looking forward to YOHB's research regarding the ghost stores. I appreciate the time it took gathering those figures, Truth. It's all been said before, but it needs to be repeated...Ray, should be ashamed !!! WP will continue only as long as the sellers ALLOW it to continue. I am soooo happy that I'm no longer connected with this scammer's lies and false promises. Welcome, Moonmagic! |

I'm not sure why or how Ozzie learned the difference between 'family' and 'non-family (outdoor)' rodents, and they do have their spouts between the cage, but he knows they're all family if inside and you don't eat family :blinkie: [/quote] I love that!

First of all I have to say how dissapointed I am. I read and re-read that post about the ghost stores and each time I thought it said ghost "stories"!
