Ok,....I am not going to the grand re- re-reopening. I need to shave my legs that night, :blinkie: Now, this is most likely be my last post, but I can't guarantee that statement. One of the things that I have learned about posting on forums and reading others words; people say things that they normally would not if they had to look the person they are referring to in the face. There has been so much bashing lately that I am appalled and embarassed to even be part of this thread. I didn't come here to bash people. I came here to have a dialog about WP and share my experience, laugh with new found friends and let others know that they are welcome here to do the same. That is not what is happening here anymore. A couple of posters are quick to jump on statements and twist them. Heck, people don't even get a chance to say much more than, "I still sell on WP" and their posts are jumped all over. STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For this very reason I stopped asking questions on WP. I was tired of getting attacked for asking questions, legitimate questions. How can I post here if I know that a couple of people are going to twist my words and turn on me at anytime? How can anyone come here and feel safe about posting their thoughts, experiences and reasons for staying at or leaving WP? Remember when we read a post we cannot see the face of the writer, do not feel the intent nor do we have the same luxury as we do when talking face-to-face to immediately ask a clarifying question and have civil conversation. Think before you attack, reread the post, ask simple questions that do not put the writer on the defensive and most important, put yourself in the posters shoes. We were all new here once...... I am going to clarify my post: I will still be reading here, but will not post unless I really feel like it. There are a bunch of great people here that I really like and enjoy chatting with and there are a couple I want to send to the naughty chair. Smile when writing posts, read a couple of times to be sure you understand and if you don't, ask a clarifying question. It is ok to disagree, it is ok to offer opinions.......it is not ok to stand on your soapbox and yell at others and accuse. Stepping off my soapbox and going to make a pot of coffee, kick off my shoes and watch SpongeBob Good night.... :turkey2:
Sweet...ditto here |

All of my darling friends are welcome to wear my ecrater stock to the party. No one at WP will ever have seen it there... scoop, thanks for your answer. I totally understand your feelings. I left with hard feelings because of many pro-wagglepoppers wacking me over the head with their pom poms time and time again. Then, I had to stop and look back because I am sure that I wacked a few with mine, too. I love the fact that we can agree, disagree, argue and make up here without one bit of it being deleted. It is a breath of fresh air for me after the smothering atmosphere I felt at WP. Oh, I really don't want to have to shave my legs or wear a bra for the big gala. I'm thinking of just wearing a robe and maybe a pair of fuzzy slippers (both blue).
FineThings4U I'll agree with you on that it is a very smothering atmosphere at WP. I know there are sellers there who don't say what they really want to say and when they do say something they are very careful how they put it. So it won't get pulled or something. Like I said before I think it's bad for the sellers and bad for WP. Very stifling. Not sure about what to wear to the grand opening actually I'm still deciding whether or not I'll attend the festivities. |

Way too busy to attend this year's grand re-opening. Considering attending the 11th annual Grand Re-Opening in 2015 to celebrate Voyayer I's entry into intergallactic space.

Well, scoop, I know it gets rowdy here sometimes, but do feel free to speak your mind. I, for one, can agree to disagree.
If you go to the festivities, wear your best and drink lots of champagne for me.
I hate stupid people!

Found this item description in a one wonder store. It is listed under 'test auctions'. Ah, who of what is actually being tested has not been clarified.

KaRay has been playing with their crystal ball again:
Quote:wagglepopCC1 13 Feb 2007 16:25 I believe expecatiions should read expectations. This expecation is going to be a bit tricky to reach if the 3-2 ratio stays in effect.
