Thanks for the warm welcome lol. Yes, I agree, eclectica, this censorship is getting a little ridiculous (getting? - I think I was blind). I'm interested in opening a website, spending my $10/month on something I have more control and less censorship over. But I don't know where to go and can't close my stores until I have the money to pay to close 'em (makes sense huh - NOT!). So, any suggestions would be appreciated. All the fraekin promoting I've been doing lately for eBay is paying off, but if I have to do all that work for 2 stores, I want my own damn website. HUH!
Lol, I really wasn't trying to be mean. It just seems like some of the people there don't see what is going on or have no problem with it. I just don't get it. Karen & Co. treat you great until you cross their proverbial line. No one is immune to it. Some of us are recovering cheerleaders - some of whom have been banned after asking legitimate questions. I just left quietly after seeing things progressively go down hill. As far as a website, it is so much better but still requires a lot of work. TT offers hosting here, it looks very reasonably priced. There are threads here dedicated to hosting and doing business on your own site - jump in! Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions about starting a site, I'd be happy to help if I can. Good luck and don't be a stranger over here!!

Wow there is a new forum on the wpssu site. Both the mm forum and the wpssu forum are blocked. You must register on each forum to access either one. The store count is dropping fast. I wonder what ka/ray will do to stop the great exodous prior to the 10th. Like I said before he is attempting to hide the truth, in the end this tactic will do him in. May I place a date on this now? Let me see hmm. I think if we push his issues hard enough 12/26/06.
Thanks for the warm welcome lol. HUH!
Lol, I really wasn't trying to be mean. It just seems like some of the people there don't see what is going on or have no problem with it.
No actually I was serious about the welcome. I visited here a few months ago and was still pretty much a cheerleader then so I thought they wouldn't let me come back! lol... So when they told me welcome this time, I was happy. I think I will have to check out the hosting but I'm no web designer and would like to have a site that already comes with a shopping cart. I'M SO CONFUSED. Ok sorry feel better now. I have to start copying my listings from Wagglepop so that when I do close, I won't lose them. I think I'll stay off the boards for now too. sigh. |

princessmirandajo,
Good luck and we all look forward to helping you. Another good ides is to dump your listings into a marketplace site for the time being. This will give you time to continue to sell and build your site. Welcome back to TT. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." X-POP NATION, join the real sellers network. |
Ecrater would be a good choice for dumping the listings. Its unfortunate WP does not have an easy way to back up your listings. Although, that may be on purpose. I had to use a website mirror utility(wget) to back up my listings.

Ecrater would be a good choice for dumping the listings.
Ecrater doesn't allow HTML, right? That wouldn't work for my templates. I just did a search on eBay and it doesn't really look like templates are selling all that well, so I probably won't add them to my store there either. Maybe blujay? |

Quote:I'm with you. I pulled some listing here and put it on another site the other day and with in an half hour one sold then a few follow. I just got done pulling everything out of my store here and sending my email to close it. Gary's store is closing this week-end also here. Don't worry, they're just weeding out the good KoolAid drinkers from the non-productive ones. Traffic is way up, sales are up. Here, have some more
