My spelling mistake, "be" instead of "buy", was due to my 3 yr. old son trying to 'assist' with my typing (common problem at my house). The fact is that he at 3 yrs. old knows far more about Wagglepop than you will ever know, and your so-called "WAGGLEFACTS" couldn't be further from the truth if they were coming from Mars. Please note that I'm not trying to convince you of anything, because it is obvious from your posts that you would not know a fact if it bit you in the a$$. [/quote] :blinkie: Well, obviously your not going to convince anyone with a post like that. :hoxmassnow11: Edited to add: 615 stores

The fact that you admited you were wrong is fact enough. You have claimed pity because of your 3 year old son in the above quote and are seeking pity sales on WP. Just check her about me page. What really gets me is how you could subject your son to your business. Having his picture in your about me page shows you haven't a care in the world as to what you are subjecting him to (cult, stolen pics of him etc.). You seem to be naive to what you are subjecting your son to. Did you know that the hosting company for WP is heavy into internet porn? As to the above statement that you made whatever. My facts have been proven time and time again and if you feel differant that is your right. I am quite sure that your WP will be gone very soon. The question is not what will we do but what will you do when it is gone? let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." X-POP NATION, A real seller's network |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I haven't posted here before but I have become a reader of these boards. I belonged to Wp for several months and since I didn't know about this site, I just played along with my fingers crossed that hopefully my feelings were wrong. I stayed away from the prayers because I really felt they were actually just asking for sales. I did post my feelings about things a few times but there was just never any response. I did like like being part of a community of sellers and learned alot from them. Most of those people have left and moved on as I have.
Anyway, why am I posting today? As I read the forum this morning, I read about new things in the immediate future. Guides for sellers to write? (More work for sellers) The look of the site? I also read about a poor seller just trying to get through a sale with no option to resend the invoice. That problem has existed since the beginning of time. Sending the invoice and getting paid is the most important thing a seller must do. If I was that seller, I would just tell the buyer to come to my other site and do it there. If Wp hasn't taken the time to update that issue, nor does it have any good advice on how to deal with it, they don't deserve to get the fee for it. Of course, no one on that site can no longer complain about that problem. I am now on 2 different venues both of which are so easy to list on and I never see people having to complain the way wp people do and that is because there is just less to complain about. Most of the complaints people make at wp are well warranted. The *cheerleaders* as they are called are people that profess to have been powersellers on ebay and mention it over and over again. If you count the first 25 stores, they have the majority of the listings on the whole site. So one day that may be all the stores that are left but the listing amount won't be much different. For the months that I was there, I continuously watched what categories were filled and which ones were empty. I never could find anything I wished to buy. Although I did purchase a few items but those sellers left soon after. The categories that I was interested in were the empty ones. You can buy plenty of clothing, books and jewelry. If you go to the travel section, you will find travel ads. I did get a laugh at that but does that satisfy a customer who actually is thinking of traveling? Are you going to buy a gift certificate to a store that may not be around long? The venue I belong to has less listings than wp but they just seem like more because they are more worthwhile. Now we must think of all the people that have left wp. They will never be buyers there and most likely either will their friends. If they had advertised when people were still excited about the place, they would have had more of a chance of keeping people and gaining more buyers and sellers than they will ever get again. They also could have done creative advertising that didn't cost money like their sellers did. Merry Christmas to All! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:1. How much would a seller have to sell on Wagglepop for you to admit that it IS a great selling opportunity for many people?(bold mine) Let's examine this "great selling opportunity" 1. A large percentage PS's feedback on eBay was as a buyer, not a seller, so she has little experience to back her claim 2. The majority of X-Poppers on this thread have years as successful sellers on sites other than WP, yet decided WP was a waste of time, energy and money 3. More than 1/3 of the sellers on WP have moved on in 3 months, at a time when sales are the most brisk on the net -- many having as much if not more experience as a seller than PS 4. WP owner left hundreds of sellers stranded first time around 5. 40% of listings on WP are trading cards, books, magazines, magazine ads and beads 6. The "buying/bidding" forum gets no action whatsoever 7. WP sellers are so desparate for sales, some are offering to give away items just to get feedback 8. WP sellers are so desparate to keep other sellers than some are offering listing contests with a year's paid store fee as a prize 9. No seller on WP can claim he/she is actually making a livng from the site. Few can cover their store fees 10. WP owner axes potential buyers should they ask questions about the site 11. WP makes it impossible to revise invoices to buyers 12. WP expects sellers to do all the work in promoting their stores (and pay for the privilege, unlike many other sites where sellers get more for free), while WP owner and staff do nothing Yep, PS, sounds like a "great selling opportunity" Edited to add: (and pay for the privilege, unlike many other sites where sellers get more for free) |
