On a personal note -- I just got slapped thEre for putting -- GASP -- my WPOP links in the only place (supposedly) allowed to put such links, in the "Favorite Links" section of About Me.

You're not allowed to put links to WPOP or any multi-seller venue (auction site, classified site, Ecrater-like site) anywhere on eBay--not even on your About Me page.

The rules for off-site links on about me pages are strict.  You're not allowed to mention any products you sell on your website (and if you have a logo that says something like MySite.com CDs DVDs you can't use the logo < I know this one from experience  ;D ) and above all LINKS TO OTHER AUCTION SITES ARE NOT ALLOWED. :

Today's Wagglepop Alexa stats--it keeps getting worse.  Is it possible that Ray thought that Alexa's spider was an infiltrator and banned it? :twistedevil:

The itsy bitsy spider came over to wagglepop. Out came the delete button and censored the spider out. Out came the spam and well you know what to do.

I found this posted on PSU and wondered if anyone would please comment.

And when daily numbers are out of the 100,000 range... check news events. Saddam's hanging... tsunami's, avalanches, power outages all affect the daily alexa which will affect the weekly and in turn the 3 mo.

Did you ever think that since MOST of us are banned from the wP boards and can't read them that WE are causing their slump in traffic  :blinkie:

I pulled up a few products from seller who seem to be doing pretty good over there and the one thing that always strikes me as odd is the page view counts on the product pages are always 1 (one) when I look at something.  Am I the only one looking? 

Oh well, I have decided that WP sellers that are there now are the true diehards and will continue to be true no matter what happens, what anyone else says and no matter what Karay does.  So on that note I declare today:  National Be Rid of What-the-poop DAY!!!

So everyone grab a turd friend and lets go out dancing!!  We can do the do si do around the toilet bowl and slide on down to the local river and take a float downstream!!  :blinkie:

My son and his girlfriend stopped by my house before they went back to college this evening. She wanted me to look for a few things on WP to see if they were still for sale. When I searched for (and found) them I noticed the counter on all of the pages was at 1. They were handmade items that I thought would have more than a 1 view count.

Those events affect all websites and I haven't seen similar drops in other related sites for 1-week and daily.
