Can someone check my math? I just did a manual listing count via view all stores. I come up with 134,241. The home page says 149,694 and we all know that # is wrong but I show a difference of 15,453. If that is correct Ray has stepped up the listing fudge efforts.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Truth, we both know of two stores that closed abruptly about a week ago. Between them they represented 6,300 listings - but the stat on the home page didn't show a blip. We've both been following a few others that appear to be pulling listings, representing over 2,000 collectively that have been delisted and these appear to be affecting the tally.
Nothing wrong with your math so the fault must be credited elsewhere. Back to the FACT that listings are remaining active even after a store has closed if the shopkeeper hasn't pulled their wares before closing the doors?? Edited because I forgot to add a question mark. Indicating a question - not a statement.

Hi all, Has anyone noticed the name change at the WP store sellers united site? It seems all is not good in popland between Ray and Brian. Web's Planet? He must be talking about saturn! let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." X-POP NATION, A real seller's network
Very interesting reporting and thank you for sharing it. I suggested a few days ago that Brian's thread was pulled from the Boston Tea Party forum because KaRay couldn't stomach someone else being praised. Although the thread was a bit over the top from our point of view with the kudos to Brian, and Brian's initial post, there was nothing offensive in the content to the membership of WP. But it did deflect praise that KaRay interprets as the Borg Queen's right. There is only room for one hero on WP and 'thy name is not Brian'. He hasn't posted since and speaking of posting, there hasn't been a word spoken or a post made, in the way of advice or encouragement from H98 for a while either. Wonder how he is?

YOHB,
Quote:The home page says 149,694 and we all know that # is wrong but I show a difference of 15,453. About a month ago the difference between the homepage # and the manual count was between 4,000 & 5,000. It looks like the fudge has increased by more then 300%. Take into consideration a manual count via view all stores doesn't account for doubled listings and things like that meaning the actual fudge count would be higher and the actual listing count would be lower. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." I am trying to help you only because of the work you have done and time you have wasted with wagglepop. Web's Planet just doesn't sound right. Maybe web promoting or something like that. Substituting web's planet for the word wagglepop just doesn't fit. Take sometime and review it for yourself it just doesn't sound right. That is free advice from me to you even though you have ripped many WP sellers apart in the past including me. It's a little shocking when it happens to you as we have seen (the censorship I mean). let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." X-POP NATION, A real seller's network |

X-POP NATION, A real seller's network
Frankly Truth, I don't picture Bud as Ray or Brian. If it was either of them I think the wording of their posts would have been more diplomatic and not so aggressive or debilitating. Or maybe I'm dreaming. I believe Brian would have shown up and represented himself honestly as he has the faith behind his convictions. He's proven that in the past. Ray on the other hand I can't predict. Bud and the Petals (love that moniker Alskling) I think they are truly sellers hiding within a sock puppet. They can only show the bravery to stir the pot (which they aren't allowed to do on WP) as a covert identity on an off-site forum. So they just let loose in an environment where the rules they have been confined with are relaxed. Or they entertain visions of brutal retaliation from us meager lot if they dared to represent themselves openly. With either excuse, I have no respect nor bend credence to anything they have to say because of this. As much as I disagree with AS777 and others on their post content and interpretation of events, I can at least respect them for stepping up to the plate, for identifying themselves as who they are. These latter are still members of the collective in my opinion but at least they are not hit and run snipers. They have some integrity and that I will recognize and respond to. Yep the PSU thread has almost died - thank God!! The latest post though is quite interesting: Quote:I believe there are many store owners just laying low to see what happen. I my self went to basic store. But will continue to promote it

Isn't that the seller that put his own money into that site? :-\
Yep, took self-paid courses on website development, opened his arms to any and all sellers to capitalize on his vision and openly offer all to join the bandwagon that he was dedicated to creating and implementing. At the time Brian first shared this concept for a collective of sellers I was intrigued and duly impressed. I was the first poster to his WP thread announcing his ambition to set up the website that volunteered to monetarily support him. That post by me was ripped to sheds here. No problem, big shoulders, water off a duck's back etc..... I understand now the polar emotions that prompted the criticism. I'm guilty of executing the same pattern today. BUT!!!! I have never lost focus with Brian's intent - his sincere ambition, motive and drive to provide a website that would benefit a group of sellers. His tireless work on behalf of his, shall we say, co-workers. If he is indeed changing the focus of wpssu to downplay WP and include other venues, sellers on other sites, then I'll be knocking on his door to be included in the renaissance.

I am beginning to believe that my contribution to this thread has no or minimal value.
My basis for saying this: NOBODY lately feels the urge to bless me with Karma!! Which is there as an indicator that a post is worthy of mental consumption. I missed the marathon two weeks ago when my fellow posters skyrocketed into new realms and left me behind. Would I get attention if I begged, groveled, pleaded, PRAYED?? Now to clarify my sarcasm for the lurkers. I don't honestly give a fat flying Farouk if I get Karma or not. I know I'm welcomed here and that I've found precious friendship amongst my fellow posters. Step on board, you just might be surprised to discover the same. I'm not seeking acceptance; I have attained it despite myself. I'm comfortable just being me and damn the topedoes!!!! I've learned how to steer starboard or port to avoid an intended impact. I'd better stop right here because I'm starting to sound like Ray. AAAAUUUKKK!!!!
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.
