I've been knee-deep in a css stylesheet for two days. I'm doing a complete remake of my driftwood site and customizing the template is driving me nuts. LOL It's kinda like sex...I have to do as much as I can while I'm in the mood, 'cause the mood won't last long.
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Ooookay...
I get it, sex + lack of attention = a bust (limited exposure as a result) TT poster + lack of attention = a bust (limited recognition as a result) Both scenarios can be victims of the moment or the momentum. A bust by any other name... Sweet & Race - you are both wonderful beings in this poster's books. And Rat - we have history; we are aligned. You guys are all cool!!
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

Sent you a little karma
I think it was a nice thing to offer to help Brian. I disagreed with the point that it was for the benefit of WP. If he were to open it to all venues, I would be happy to support him. He, like many of us, was excited and happy to promote WP as a site. As I am sure he sees now, his posts get pulled, etc, etc, etc. Sure, they love him for putting up his hard earned money and time to promote him for free, but when he posts his feelings on the board and they are too much for Ray to handle, ~edit~ I say, come on over, feel free to use a different name. You can vent and we will listen. We can all empathize and we're not to proud to say I MADE A MISTAKE.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
What I think is so important for Brian to consider is himself. In other words all of that passion and drive he apparently has thrown at WP would be so much more effective if he invested that in himself. Just imagine if the members of that group were to take the plunge and at least start putting together their own site. They could form a group for independent website owners and help each other out. As long as ray has all these people doing the work he should be doing for WP he will not change.
Nobody selling on WP is immune to ray's mood swings. He is the guy making all the decisions and the reputation he has in the online community will directly impact the seller's business. Ray lost all his credibility the first time around. He hasn't recovered his reputation one bit. Fine |
