Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens

They may not be listening to sellers, chiquita, but they are listening elsewhere.

As store numbers continue to drop, Karen keeps bumping all of those dynamic threads (international beta, we the poople, Q1 2007, etc) back up to the top with some inane smiley face comment.

One seller who shall remain nameless (I am not here to slam sellers and WISH THEM ALL THE BEST) is starting to question the new offerings, sounding a bit disgruntled.  How long til 399,398,397....closed.

Integration of the first item on the Q1 schedule has been completed, and we are moving ahead with (and working simultaneously on) the others to bring the entire Q1 goals to fruition as quickly as possible.

Q1 will mark the period of growth whereby we become a truly "worldwide" enterprise, increase overall online and offline visibility, and shape Wagglepop in the ways that will lead us into the future.

In the coming weeks, you will likely notice a marked increase not only in general traffic, but in new members and new sellers and Stores. There will likely be a lot of new members and questions on the Community boards, and I know we will welcome and assist them as we as a community always do.

We are very happy and proud to know that as we leave 2006 and enter 2007, as a company and community we have set clear standards for the type of place Wagglepop is going to be moving forward.



As we continue the Q1 tasks, we will keep membership as up to date and informed as possible every step of the way, as we grow together.

I would think that ONline visibility is more important.  Many don't have time to read the newspaper and get news from the internet.

Offline visibility = bumper sticker on Ray's car.

And absolutely no mention of new buyers?  Another indication that the only one WP expects to benefit from the "marketing plan" (which I believe we have seen the sum total of in the ecommerce-guide article) is WP.

I think you're exactly right JoJo, but don't forget...one or two new posts and some auctions with illegal WP links did show up on the eBay too, so that was also probably part of the 'behind the scenes' marketing plan.

Have you noticed that when someone makes a legitimate point (or at least I thought it was when I posted it  ), he shows up with his spastic postings.  I think he's trying to scroll the 'good' post off and bury it amongst a bunch of nonsensical rantings so it won't get noticed.

It's pretty hard to figure what he's trying to do, if anything. Gael is the only Popper with the chutzpa to stand up to him. All the other cheerleaders let him rant. Don't they see that he's hurting their cause, not helping it? He bangs more drums than the Energizer Bunny.
