Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I wonder if the store that closed today and had approximately 3600 items listed was able to pull the listings, or if they are still being counted in Pop Land's listings. Since we know that happens, maybe that is why the listing number didn't drop very much.
I wish someone had a few of the item number's from that seller so we could see if they are still there and being counted in the 'active' listings.

It's really bizarre to have listed so much and then "poof" be gone. I don't even know but one or two sellers over there now.

Checkout this link it looks as if they have been gone since October or tried to move since then. Who knows.

Why does that not surprise me one bit to find listings from a closed store still active.
Any WP members want to try to explain how a closed store can still have active items? Give it your best shot.

Well, that was quite informative.
Maybe he can use it as a big tax write off anyway.

X-POP NATION, A real seller's network [/quote] Hi Truth, Arcane didn't leave until recently. I've been anticipating this move as the seller had indicated to me months ago that they would be pulling out in the new year. True to his word. I believe he was, in the meantime, looking for a new site to list from before making the break. I'm assuming he found it and wish him the best of luck there; or wherever he ends up.

Quote:The Three Year Plan From the most recent edition of WP Today. When they had the sellers and had gone way beyond their projected benchmarks, they treated sellers like dirt. They missed their prime opportunity to really make this site "the" place to be. I guess greed got in the way of good judgement. JMHO
