Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Hi Guys... just an update on my scrapbook website... I'm closing it down. After further examination of the cost of this thing, it just wasn't feasible at the time. I also didn't like my supplier. So I'm going back to what works but with a totally new sense of accomplishment AND I've learned some things along the way.
I'm signed up with Google AdWords and with MSN AdCenter for the pay-per-click ads. I'm going to have the traffic going to BJ and crater rather than the scrapbook site. I also just signed up with Yahoo Pay per click Marketing and will direct traffic from there as well. I look at this whole thing as a learning experience. I was only open a week!!! LOL But... I love what I sell now and I want to concentrate on that. DH says that I just got antsy 'cause sales are slow everywhere right now... he's probably right. I am a deal finder... yard sales, flea markets... I love to sell OOAK items and that's how I made my money last year. Dropshipping ain't my thing. No control over my product scares me. Spoken in the words of Thomas Edison when he was trying to invent the lightbulb... "I didn't fail... I just found one more way that won't work!" My fees were up over $100 a month for this site... I'm going to take that money and invest it in something I know will succeed... ME!! LOL I'm going back to basics... going back to what works. Please don't feel bad for me... I feel like a monkey has been taken off my back. I'm excited to get back to work on my BJ and crater stores... not to mention my eBay auctions. Gotta Run... I'll check in later! |

Platzki
You go, girl! You're smart enough to look at your business objectively and make decisions based on rationale rather than blind faith. AND, you're able to assess where you get the biggest bang for your buck. You got guts, perseverance, ethics and talent. I know it's hard to stay focused when you get fire ants in your knickers. I'll be eager to hear how the AdWords and pay-per-click work for you. I've never bought any, because I don't want to invest in something of which there are no guarantees of paying off. So, if you don't mind, I'd like to learn from an OBJECTIVE source how valuable these tools are. Please give us status reports. Good luck. |

When you go to the feedback page for this seller, it shows no feedback for the past 7 days and no feedback for the past 30 days. I don't see where it shows no feedback for the last 60 or 90 days. When you scroll down to read the feedback comments, it shows feedback posted as recent as December 17. Am I missing something here?

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
One more point to make about store #1 based on items listed is there listing count was over 7,500 last month. Now it is under 5,100 so well over 2000 listings have been pulled to go to another site. I would assume that new site for this seller is Amazon but I haven't checked so if anyone knows please fill us in.

Don't know why it didn't come up for me, but right there. My bad. BTW: The last time I checked (this afternoon) the listing count on the home page hadn't changed one iota. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Alskling, I was afraid I was missing something. I just wanted to make sure my old timers hadn't kicked in full force today. It was a long and exhausting day at work, then had to go to the grocery, fix dinner, clean the kitchen, feed the critters, and then finally get to sit down and relax.
Who knows why it didn't show up for you earlier. Lots of strange things happen on Pop Land's site from time to time.
